Not sure how you could leave the Central Park 5 off this list. Talk about a relevant story to our current times.

Agreed. We say that about teen Kate every time too.

Great addition. I too click on reviews of shows I don’t watch just to give my steaming hot takes everyone is dying to read.

Mandy Moore was incredible last night, but my gripe about the show continues to be that neither she nor Milo Ventigmiglia looked like 50-something parents of teenagers. Work a little harder, makeup department.

“Slap it to a Slim Jim”???

Grownup Tess looked so much like pre-teen Tess. The casting department deserves an Emmy for that.

I think I saw the first 10 minutes before going to bed, but I remember thinking “This is fucking ridiculous, let that dog die it’s not worth your life. You aren’t a superhero.” Then he goes back in and I thought “he would’ve died from smoke inhalation due to the toxic smoke.” WELL THEY SHOWED ME.

When the wife bites into the Twix bar after finding out the husband was dead, the first thing that came to mind:

I mention “That’s probably the wrong tree,” and my wife says I’m being an asshole and just ruined a touching moment. The character says the same exact thing and it’s a little bit of levity. Do I get an apology? I do not.

NBC:

“I’ve never cried before, even as a baby! My parents took me to the doctor. They thought I was broken, but I was just a super chill baby!”

Rafael in fetish gear is something I knew that I wanted, but was sure I would never get. Miracles do happen.

The time-jump was a great solution to my two minor concerns - A) I wasn’t really looking forward to a Heather pregnancy arc, and B) Valencia is the one character I feel this show has struggled to find what to do with for the last year. This way, we get peak Heather anguish (her cry-insulting Hector was easily the

They should have gotten someone to play the creepy janitor and given him a song.

Oh, man, even thinking about Nathaniel’s face right then right now makes me all teary. He loves her. That is some damn fine acting.

I do feel a bit sorry for Vinny/Josh, to have his role so drastically downgraded that he went from second lead (pretty much) to little more than a background player. It gives us an inkling of what Santino/Greg’s fate would have been if he had stayed after they burned through his story arc. The show’s running gag was

1. Michael Hyatt is so goddamned good in this show.
2. Aline McKenna and Rachel Bloom are just killing it this season.
3. The inversions of songs in reprises (Face Your Fears, most of all) is paying off so handsomely.
4. I teared up a bit when the camera cut from Nathaniel to no Rebecca. And I’m an adult in his mid

Rebecca admitting all the stuff she was afraid she’d get hung up on was just devastating. Rachel Bloom is so damn good.

The sole purpose of this post is to acknowledge and celebrate Rene Gube, who is freaking hilarious as Father Brah and apparently a brilliant writer as well. Thank you for your time.
