Do we think the gang have been thrown into another (intensely detailed) simulation? Or have they actually been thrown back in time (confirming that afterlife time is out of slip with ... uh ... peri-life time) and living their real lives? In which case are they going to get to live out their lives until the next thing

It was pointed out on Reddit etc. already, but:

I was thinking about potential loopholes and canon discontinuity- but Eleanor also made a joke about Tahani speaking in a British accent early in the first season. Something like how it must be fake, because if the Good Place translates everything, then why would she hear the accent?

One of my first reactions was “Someone in the AV Club comments totally called this.” Don’t recall if it was just you or multiple people, but nice work.

The best moments:

I respect the Tahani/Eleanor shippers, but my heart belongs to Chidi & Eleanor. I just love them the most, and I love their dynamic and their friendship and they are just way too adorable.

His native language might be french, but he’s multilingual and teaching in an English speaking university, so it’s not really shocking. (Additionally, English has made the same inroads in academia it has everywhere else, so it’s often the best way to reach the international academic community)

You know, I meant to mention that. (My much smarter wife noticed it, as I am dumb.) While I think that Chidi, teaching as he does at an Australian university, has always spoken English as well as French, it does seem off that he doesn’t speak with any sort of accent when Eleanor comes to his office. Whether, as you

Not gonna lie. Eleanor seeking out Chidi makes me cry. He will always be her flashlight.

This show continually knocks me off my feet. Michael Schur is a genius. And that Chidi + Eleanor kiss?! Hot Diggity Dog!

There was so much about this episode that made me squeal, but one that made me think wayyyyy too hard:

I gotta be petty...

Remember when Riverdale was a bunch of kids dealing with a heightened tragedy? And now its multiple outrageous plots flinging the characters wherever. The FBI, a murderous son, the crime lord, prostitutes (plural) and whatever the serpents are

I really don’t know why the writers are sticking with the whole awful Dark Betty stuff. Are fans really clamouring for that? Because it’s not even ridiculously entertaining. Just plain bad.

I’m just happy that it didn’t land with Rebecca carrying the baby, since that would’ve been way too much for the character to deal with. I guess Heather had a whole season arc in this single episode so that’s something for her to do next season.

I loved Rebecca eventually giving up trying to skirt around the meta commentary on the reprise. And glad to see Maya! I was worried Povitsky might be gone for good. Now we need Karen to come back.

The more interesting angle to all of this, for me, isn’t what his motive was. We probably will never know. But I’m intrigued by the idea that it /could/ have been stopped. They could have put up flyers. The pawnshop owner could have then recognized him when he pawned stuff under his own name. The closeted guy he

I’m not sure—but they did give *slight* smiles ;)

Were the models at the end of the fashion show supposed to be fatter than the ones at the beginning, cause I expected to see more of a difference.

and Max Greenfield portrays Ronnie with incredible depth.
