It amazes me that Larry’s friends have been hanging out with him for damn near 20 years and yet they keep being shocked when he causes all his Davidian chaos. At a certain point they should really be blaming themselves for letting him show up to ruin all their gatherings.

Is it cheaper to get the divorce or buy the new house? And was I the only one who thought that painting looked like a young Michael Douglas? I’m thinking circa Romancing the Stone...

I totally bought it. I’ve seen it happen to people I’d have thought just as open-minded and cool.

I buy it, because (barring personal anecdotes) the original show established a growing disconnect between Elliot and Jack as he grew up. A prime example was Elliot joining cheerleading (something he hated), solely because he knew it would interest Jack. Previously Jack would ignore all of Elliot’s weekly calls to go

It’s because Schrodinger’s Cat is difficult to execute without causing the episode to turn tragic.

I suspect repressed jealousy.

Great episode! Maybe one of my favorites.

What is with the Trolley Problem and comedies? The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt also focused an episode on it. Is it inherently more comedic than other philosophical problems?

Take your unsucked candy back out of the well.

Can’t believe I never thought of her as someone who’d be a natural fit on Curb, because... well, she really is. That lady is game for anything, and her comedic timing and line delivery is impeccable.

Elizabeth Banks is the best.

Damn this one was hard to watch. I lived this for roughly a year after grad school when I returned to my home town to look for work. It was a bad time and I lived with my parents while I scraped by. I became fixated on trying to relive the past, or more accurately, to have a second chance. I wrote to just about

Really nice episode, and Zosia Mamet was great - it’s cool to see her in a more subdued role compared to her typical fast-talking Shoshanna-type character.

Man the premier didnt exactly ease my Kevin issues from last season. His only scene was with his (shocker) female best friend, and they continue ruining his great comic Jughead & Archie friendships by, you know, not having them exist.... was he even at the hospital?

Larry: Are you expecting somebody?

I hope that, by the end of the season, Larry just has a gaggle of adult black men living in his house.

“No stone fruit?”

This is exactly why Jameela Jamil as Tahani is my favorite character (well...also I really like to look at her). How is she at the same time so annoying, and yet so sympathetic? It is acting wizardry.

I wonder if, were Eleanor not purposely playing along this time, she would have stood up and said, “Oh, THIS is the bad place!” once Vicky started singing.

I bet she was tempted! I would have been.

Whatever happens, this series must end with Mindy getting her cocaine.
