There was nothing to their relationship at all though. Whenever either of them are in trouble the interactions between them sound like they were written with a child's view on relationships. I guess you could argue it was kept in the background because they knew they wouldn't be able to write it particularly

All I remember is Seven makes holo-Chakotay a romantic dinner, and he says to her 'you're beautiful when you're chopping'. Ahem.

I always find it weird but nice this was actually the Christmas number 1 in the UK in 2003, 2 years after the film release, and stayed number 1 for 3 weeks.

Yeah I don't think there's a huge difference in terms of quality between the second and third seasons. The 'middle' mini-arc in season 3 isn't that great, but otherwise I thought it hung together quite well, in spite of Piz. The second season was very convoluted.

Does everyone hate all these? I kinda like The Reckoning and especially Tears of the Prophets, which traumatised me when I first watched it. (I was like 10 and Dax was a nice lady, okay?)

Wasn't as good as the past few but I particularly liked:
Marshall: I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have used that word.
Daphne: only we're allowed to use that word!
Marshall: I'm sorry, I'll never call you a Trekkie again.

Sorry, who was the old showrunner again?

I stopped watching Modern Family towards the end of last season and even by then Lily was by far the funniest character. I can't be bothered to watch any of season 5 but would happily sit down to watch clips of just what Lily has been up to.

It baffles my mind it still gets coverage and frickin' EMMY NOMINATIONS for crying out loud. The first season WAS quite good (although the last episode wasn't great). As soon as I started the second the whole thing was so off, each episode so all over the place, skipping through things at a ridiculous pace,

Some of the best tracks on Born this Way weren't singles (I for one hated Edge of Glory and wasn't that keen on the title track). The problem with Artpop is the promo singles weren't that great… but they're probably the best songs.

Dawn is underrated, she was quite good in season 7. Xander is the worst Buffy character by far, post high school anyway.

I don't understand why so many like season 6. Some of those episodes in the winebego rank among the worst/most boring ever, for me.

I didn't think this episode was as funny as the last few. Everything with Ted's step-dad was kind of irritating.

I dunno, I think this has been the strongest season in years so far.

I didn't think this had as many funny moments as some of the previous this season. Normally love Anna Camp, but overplayed it a bit here for me, and wasn't that funny. And the YOU CHOSE… thing got old pretty quick.

They may have thought Luhrmann's version was the last generation, and a new version was needed for the current generation. But to be honest, there's never going to be a film version of the play which works as well to any modern audience.

Jack has always been a more offensive presence than either Charlotte or Declan IMO.

He was supposed to be way more experienced, and I definitely read his chattiness as a way for him to deal with his stress and fear. I don't know, perhaps I'm identifying too much, but that situation has gotta be one of the scariest potential deaths I can think of so hyperventilating seems pretty natural to me. I get

HBP, DA1 and DA2 were better than OOTP. OOTP had a really choppy narrative, despite a great ending… I think it seems pretty obvious it was Yates' first HP film, the others all have a great flow to them and work as films separate from the books far better.
