I live in Metro Detroit. Coming up or down I-94, it’s something I never tire of seeing. (See what I did there? I crack myself up!)

Life must be so much easier when (you believe) laws apply only to other people.

Beautiful car, great price, and if I were in the market I would probably be talking myself out of a bargain...but there has to be a reason why this car is so cheap. I don’t want to find out. ND.

Mazda—at least during the Ford years, from about the late 1980s to about 2010. Because Mazda MX-6 and 626 and Ford Probe. Because Mazda6 and Ford Fusion. Because Mazda 323 and (American second-gen) Ford Escort. Because Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute. Because...

A Buick, Chrysler, Lincoln, Mercury or Oldsmobile sedan—except that Buick, Chrysler or Lincoln are no longer making sedans, and Mercury and Oldsmobile aren’t making much of anything anymore.

It should be a place that creates sewage, not one that treats it. Otherwise, that’s a better idea than I had—specifically, naming a federal medium-security prison after Trump.

It’s interesting that this car was apparently intended as a police car, but equipped with the nice seats (front and rear), carpeting, etc.  I assume a civilian could (and did) order a CV like this from the factory, but the aftermarket mods make it a ND from me.

My first guess is that they know people who may have been on or near the bridge at the time of the collapse, and are desperate for confirmation that they weren’t victims of the collapse.

If it’s not ants, it must be uncles.

Had it not been for the intervention of the Federal Government in the early Obama administration, would GM and Chrysler now exist?

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Now playing

For the morbidly curious (probably all of us), more views:

Mini Cooper coupe. Granted, the design was pretty pathetic to begin with, but time has done it no favors. In certain colors, it looks like it has a toupee worse than President Trump’s.

I hate to think like this, but if the 20-year-old passenger in critical condition at the time of the accident doesn’t make it, I’m sure there will be criminal charges against the driver.

Yes, I definitely want to be wearing my seatbelt the next time I get into an expensive, high-powered car driven by a drunk 19-year-old.  I assume her parents own(ed) it.  What in purple hell were they thinking?

Someone probably grabbed it to convert to Spec Miata.  NP, at least for that person.

I am surprised that nobody mentioned the obvious (at least if that teenager is of the female persuasion): the Hummer H1.  You call that a center console, I would call it a pregnancy prevention device--it’s wide enough to keep her boyfriend from doing much more than holding her hand.  Plus the fuel mileage is awful

I think most people see any modification as “what percentage off bluebook price?”.  This one’s sloppiness all the more.

And I sincerely apologize that my computer insists on publishing multiple copies of the same photograph.  I have no idea why it does that.
