Honestly, I would laugh if literally every character, except Zarya, was lgbtqa+. Zarya would be firmly heterosexual. It would subvert expectations.

I agree, I want her to be a straight girl and make another completely unexpected character gay instead, that would convey the message “anyone could be gay, because they are, you know, common people”.

Early polls since the debate seem to reflect that fact, but my faith in this country has really been shaken at this point.
