I can’t think of a reasonable case for anyone to buy this vehicle. Anything you save by getting it for this low price will be consumed by maintenance costs before you know what hit you. No dice. 

A Mazda3 hatch would fit the bill nicely, and you can easily get a new one for $30k. Why go for something that “feels” new when you can get something that really is new?

The price doesn’t look bad compared to the cost of a new camper van, but I can’t shake the feeling that the camper-related components will be a basket case of problems after 30 years of use. No dice.

I understand they have to punish him, but part of me feels like they should let him go out of respect for the game. Using the same method people use to sneak into a concert without paying to board an international flight in the post 9/11 world makes him a stowaway legend IMO.
