I trust Mindy's judgment!

Mindy Kaling wrote in her book that during her time on The Office with Steve, he was the nicest person imaginable. Even when a group would be gossiping about something harmless, probably about Kardashians or something everybody would chat about, he wouldn't partake. He'd excuse himself from the group. Not that he

Drop me an email address, Mama. I will gladly keep you posted. (Reach me at MichaelRaysses@hotmail.com).

Well, thank you for the kind words, Mama.

I like how she says "marry you or have you adopt me." Some might read that as pervy, but I see what she did there. She added the "adopt me" so the "marry you" wouldn't sound like an inappropriate thing to say to a married guy but included the "marry you" so the "adopt me" wouldn't make him feel like "an old."

I have a theory about people who become wildly successful/famous on the level that Steve has achieved: their relationship with their past, pre-fame and success, is an either or proposition. Either they embrace it. Or they shed it like a snake sheds its skin, leaving it in the middle of the road, to dry up and blow

Let's just hope he never makes an ineloquent off the cuff remark in the context of his support for equality or we'll have no choice but to discount everything good he's ever said or done.

Bad things about Steve Carrell: He is not, currently, my best friend.

Ummm... the tone of this article was really flippant. I'd love to see some more well-thought out posts about ISIS, how they view/treat women and children, and why/how these girls may have been convinced to leave their (comfortable?) lives and travel to a war zone. I know Jez isn't the NYT, but I think you guys could

Exactly. And, surely, this is actually what abortion is like for some people? I've never had one, but if I got pregnant this would be me, only with the added novelty of scraping under the couch cushions for $500 in pocket change. As much as abortion isn't talked about much at all in popular entertainment, I think a

Considering what he was up against, I'm going to go ahead and say he was still 1,000,000x better that most white folks in the south those days.

I mean yeah, that's possible and likely but we can't just assume that's why. He could have had some serious mental health issues as well. I'm not being bullied but during my depression periods and especially around my period I seriously contemplate it. Either way it's a very sad tragic situation and the adults in this

Can I guess how many times you use the term "Social Justice Warrior" in a day? I'm taking 11, but in the triple digits if you're feeling internet chatty.

yep, i feel you, and yet, the obligation to be empathetic stands. nothing as chill as silence

Troll, you're not welcome here and you can go now. Dismissed.

Really? Because the consensus seems to be that you are.

Ha- not all the time. Just if I visit and my dad is away on business, we watch movies in bed and go to sleep. It's not weird, I came out of her vaginia for christssake. I can lie next to her in pajamas.

Oh, okay, I'll make sure to tell my Russian family who have always offered a quick peck on the lips to each other, or the cheek that we're actually sexually assaulting each other.

I think there comes an age where cuddling with family is weird

Wrong. Cuddling, hugging, closed mouth pecks on the mouth with no sexual insinuation is completely normal. Humans are physical beings. In fact, children that are denied loving (not sexual) physical affection develop attachment disorders - see maternal deprivation; it can be a form of neglect. You can also Google the
