seriously. for a website group that demands it be taken seriously (but only when it wants to be), the writers should probably take an AP style course (or just adhere to Gizmodo’s internal style guide!) and read their stories before hitting post.

YES. The grammar and spelling errors are glaringly bad.
My art history professor would have marked me down, and I was paying tuition!
There were so many errors!
What is ‘tie at tie at 8 pm’? Why don’t they use spellcheck and grammar check????
The grammatical errors, comma abuse, and questionable punctuation bother me. The rampant misspellings are absurd, and do not serve a site that at times desires to be Serious Journalism.
Someone needs to help them!
Blerg.
SO MUCH HP SMUT. I was big into fanfic for a while in middle school/high school. I still sometimes revisit my favs.
Also the Kushiel’s Legacy series and The Witches of Eileanan series and the Alanna novels. And random romance novels I found lying around family members’ houses. I used to read everything I could get my hands on and found out a lot about my family members’ ... predilections by innocently picking up a dogeared…
What books made me horny as a teen? All of them. Everything else, even distilled water, made me horny too. Or, maybe just being a teen was what made me horny. It could have been that too.
She’s pointing out that what he did to them would be cruel and unusual punishment so she couldn’t sentence him to that.
Well, no. I’m another person who prefers a judge who judges with at least the appearance of dispassion. For the same reason that even human garbage like Nassar should have a competent attorney. Reason being it helps keep the system fair and honwst for the innocent.
Anytime I hear anything like that happening to babies I’m a mess for days. There is not enough brain bleach.
Take these thousand stars, you hero. Take them all.
Much like “Alien Nation” I think it’d be way more fun as a series.
I didn’t mind the story but could definitely see a sequel being more interesting once things were established. This movie was more about creating the world and bringing Will Smith and Joel Edgerton’s characters together than the actual wand plot. I think it has a lot of potential if a second gets made. The humor does…
I liked it except that I think they chose the most boring story they could have told for the interesting universe they created. Will Smith spouting one-liners is boring.
Just a thought for Hollywood and Netflix: stop fucking hiring David Ayer and Max Landis. How many times do they have to bomb before it’s time to give someone else a chance?
Who cares what you’d rather she do?
