The GOP knows their base are lazy, easily distracted and can be manipulated like cats following a laser pointer.

They’ve had a seven-season plan from the beginning, with a setup of 3 season / 2 season / 2 season arcs.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding was that Obsidian had been left for dead and that The Outer Worlds was their semi-low-budget Hail Mary comeback attempt - which scored when MS saw it, liked it, and bought up the studio.

Stupid babies need the most attention!

They don’t care about educating kids; they want to force their parents back to work.

Kids at school is the status quo, and they are desperate to get back to a semblance of status quo because that’s what gets them votes. Plus, kids at home means parents at home means parents not out there working to “pump up the economy!” and act as servants to the slightly-higher middle class.

As a side discussion, the argument that Biden is considered centrist, non-threatening and bland says a huge amount about American politics.

Doesn’t explain why they got rid of the Double Decker Taco, which uses only ingredients from other, very high-selling items.

I super believe in Tad Cooper.

Tad Cooper!

I don’t know which famous British actors ABC had in mind for King Richard, but it’s hard to imagine Galavant working as well with anyone besides Omundson in that role. It’s tough to play a character who is simultaneously ridiculous and kind of menacing and fundamentally sympathetic, but that’s Omundson’s odd little

I love Tim and am always happy to see him turn up. Fine actor, fine human. I'm glad to hear his recovery is still coming along.

No streaming service carries it here in the EU — including the soon to be ex-EU — that I can tell. You can buy it digitally on Amazon.

Ubisoft just keeps using present-day problems as fuel for conflict in their games, then they do absolutely nothing to take a stance on what’s morally right. It’s like, they see the grief and pain experienced by people in the world, then feed on it to make money while absolving themselves of any defining message

I could maybe forgive this, if the game was going to go seriously into the rise of totalitarianism though a Nazi analogue, and in the importance of standing united instead of letting the government divide the common people to crush and resistance.  But then I remember that Far Cry 5 is an "apolictial" game and how

But is it better for me to say nothing at all?

you can’t simultaneously argue that the reference should be considered on-topic and justified and also done with complete obliviousness. “dark” is not the word to describe the genocide of 15 million people.

If you are going to dismiss a message like this because the guy who originally quoted it was at one time a Nazi supporter who changed their mind (and isn’t this about changing people’s minds?), then you are discouraging people to say anything, period.

Your post goes to show you don’t understand how the Nazi Party rose to power... You should do some reading. You’ll also see a lot of parallels with today...

It’s about how the Nazis came to power, and of course, the point is to recognize persecution and not to mince about when it’s happening, regardless to whom. What did you think it was saying?
