My guess is they’re slowly turning on Trump because they can see the writing on the wall, and it’s saying he’s going to crash and burn sometime relatively soon. They want to position themselves as being “reasonable” “adults” by opposing him right about the same time the party starts yanking power back from him…

And the thing is, even if his assertion about the numbers doubling under Bush, the fact that those same numbers are now down 75% from 18 years ago means they’re lower than the pre-Bush numbers, which at their highest were never considered an emergency.

I was thinking about Hollow Knight and Team Cherry as I read Jason’s piece on the aftermath of the massive layoffs. The contrast between the two companies is staggering.

My local butcher sells these amazing garlic-crusted rib eyes, that I grill to a nice medium-rare. I make either gold or red mashed potatoes (whatever looks the best at the time), and sauteed corn with bell peppers, with a Seinfeld-ian Big Salad to kick it all off.
