I read the title as “Heavy Raisins” and boy was I disappointed when I got a perfectly reasonable and informative story with terrific pictures.
Who gives a tug if it runs. Look at that interior! Park it in a heated garage, prop a TV on the dash and sit in the back. Sooooo nice.
I know, but the RS/LS/GS all had the 1.8L here. I wrecked a GS and plugged the engine into an RS. My brother had an LS around that time and it also had the same engine. Never saw one with a 1.6L; where did they use those?
Pretty sure only the last 2 were in USDM cars. It’s been a while, so don’t quote me on it.
I should have read your comment before posting mine. Good call.
Mostly just the suspension was shared. The body was different, the interior was different, the wheels were different. And they didn’t share the motor with a civic.
The raptor has the same tow rating. They still suck to tow with unless you swap in stiffer rear springs and use a Weight Distributing Hitch.
Far too ugly, far too uninteresting, far too much money for either. ND
Heep Grand Cherokee WJ. Don’t buy old Heeps. Just don’t.
This and the Raptor both tow like crap with the softroader suspension and no rear swaybar.
That 3.5 isn’t from the Ford GT. At all. The Raptor and Platinum have the 3.5HO @450hp but it shares no parts with the Ford GT motor.
Put it in a Raptor, like Ford should have. . .
I almost want to buy this as a commuter. NP all day.
I have a car, a truck and two motorcycles, 1 large, 1 small. They’re all low mileage, 3 are less than 4 years old and all 4 are in great shape. I’m inspired.
I’d buy it for half the asking price.
It’s very nicely done and looks cool except for the Rubicon decals. But far too much money.
I can’t wait to buy one for $50k. . . in 5 years.
Up-fitter switches. How novel.
I liked them in white.
