It’s just too old and inconsequential to bother with in any condition at any price.

These weren’t just offered with a stick, that was the only option. This isn’t a rare version like the 2009+ ones that were mostly autos.
Those had a Northstar engine and an automatic transmission.
This price is what 150k mileage cars go for. They didn’t make that many of them and they are so much fun to hammer around in. They’re small-ish and that giant torque curve means you don’t have to rag on them much at all. In fact if you do, the tires just spin.
The seat automatically moves all the way back when you turn it off and take out the key. You can disable the feature if you normally carry passengers with their own legs. This is cheap, even considering the mileage. This is what $150k mile ones go for.
They’re not that bad, but that seat is pretty far back. I’m 5'9" and an adult my size could sit behind my driver’s seat no problem. If the driver is 6'3", then maybe he needs the seat that far back.
I mean, it’s in terrific shape, but who cares. It is what it is, and worth $7,800 it isn’t. I’m not sure I’d want it at any price, in any condition.
Yeah that last generation escort GT was crazy fun to flog the crap out of.
If you think using plastic parts for a window is bad, don’t dare pop the hood on a BMW. . .
I had a 1983 Accord Hatch 5-spd in high school with a pair of oversized snow tires up front. They would drag that rusty bitch anywhere you wanted to go, even with the belly dragging over stuff.
5th Gear - “Why do the Democrats go through all the trouble of getting elected if they’re not going to do anything while in office?”
I saw one going through my neighborhood the other day. I was surprised to see it, happy to be reminded that they exist and marveled at how unspectacular it sadly is.
Not exactly a cross-shopping candidate to the vehicles you mention, but the ride in a Raptor is fantastic for any vehicle. It feels better on any road than my wife’s MDX. It’s also surprisingly controlled for a lifted-on-bubble-tires kind of setup.
K&N puts a nut shape on the end so you can use a real socket or box-end wrench. I like them on my motorcycles.
I just thought real quick about any V8 powered vehicles that you can buy at this price point and mashed NP. Add on that it is, in fact, a pickup truck with 4WD, and this is a bargain given the current used vehicle market. . .
Dead 50%/50% right now, which is right where I am on it as well. Nice car for a Nice Price, but the title and maintenance shenanigans necessary post-purchase have me puckered. I voted ND. . . reluctantly.
I bought mine in 2012 with 13k miles on it for $18k. I see they’ve gone up a little bit with the rest of the market but still nowhere near $30k. . .
A CTS-V with the same miles and drivetrain can be had for half. I like it, but Hell No Dice at that Price.
Taillight tint. So you want to be rear-ended? Ok then. See how they look with an F-150 rammed through them.
Beta phase means they are building vehicles with design-intent parts. Finalized components, but not necessarily from production processes. (soft tooling or 3D printing for plastics, etc)
