I saw your first article and was immediately intrigued by a “scary” game so I had to try it out. I ended up playing it 5 times through and loved it. I was expecting some cheap jump scares or mindfucks for thrills. I came out with a mix of horror yet bigger sense of empathy.
This game hit me hard when I played it. After the first act is finished there was a certain picture that showed up in the background of the classroom. I was on edge prior to that with the black screen and begging, but then the image told me it was time to turn of the game and not sleep all night.
