Thank you! This annoys me to no end. If you sexualize them when they behave like a child when they are supposed to be a 500 year old thing, then they are a child. It doesn’t matter what they are supposed to be. Like seriously, if you want to use that cop out make sure they act like the ancient adult fiends they are.

I also, by chance, got the image on the wall while Monika is telling you about the club in the second section immediately after that scene... I literally turned off my computer and said fuck this game about a half dozen times.

Seriously this. I think it was by the second poem sharing I knew what was coming. That bottle poem was beyond telling, but man I felt sick to my stomach. The begging/blaming over the black screen just pushed me to my limits.

Its a % chance to happen. I just happened to be unlucky enough to have it happen.

The game is just... Oppressive

This game hit me hard when I played it. After the first act is finished there was a certain picture that showed up in the background of the classroom. I was on edge prior to that with the black screen and begging, but then the image told me it was time to turn of the game and not sleep all night.

Do you know much about how easy it is for the physically disabled to get around?

I picked up this game because of your article and boy... I figured out what was going to happen fairly quickly. The poetry is a dead give away. Even though I saw it coming it hit me like a truck. I still haven’t finished it, but plan on it. I had to stop at one point with that stupid picture in the background.

It has had storylines since the 70s in various campaign modules. Most people homebrew though.
