No one has ever accused Jill Sobule of sexual harassment.
No one has ever accused Jill Sobule of sexual harassment.
“It felt so wrong, it felt so ... no, that first one really covers it.”
“I’m just musing and know very little.”
I mean, she did so well at sexualizing bisexuality at the start of her career...
Maybe she can run back to her roots as a “Christian” artist and pull the ol’ “HollyWEIRD changed me but now I’m born again (and ready for your money)” routine
Susan B. Anthony is turning in her grave... in order to get away from the gropey Katy Perry.
She built her image around being an aggressively sexual, party-girl. It’s sad that this happened, but also very on brand for her. It’s a little odd to me that she’s sometimes championed as a progressive or even feminist figure when her work seems at best banal and at worst, fairly exploitative. But I’m just musing and…
Can we all take a minute to acknowledge trailblazer Katy Perry for bisexualizing sexual harrassment? Another civil rights milestone!
“i kissed a girl, she disliked it” probably wouldn’t have been as big a hit
Exactly. Children do it. It’s never funny. It’s beyond humiliating. You can’t even pretend it didn’t happen, cause it happened in front of everyone. It’s a strong contender for Shittiest Thing Ever.
My teammates on the high school cross country squad. If I never see any of them again, I would have no problem with it. It’s a shitty thing to do, and Katy Perry is a shitty person for doing it.
Katy Perry does. Didn't you read the article?
She also kissed a male contestant on American Idol who said he’d never been kissed. No consent, no apology, just treated like a joke. That was his first kiss, damn it.

It’s funny, I asked myself for the longest time was a new Tool album would even look like, since their whole aesthetic depended so much on physical releases.
Now they’ve just dropped their whole catalog on streaming services, the new album’s coming out, and we get both physical and digital now. So I’m just sitting here…
From what I’ve heard of it, it’s going to actually sound more like Lateralus than 10,000 Days, which I think is a good thing.
I am not a huge Tool fan but I really enjoy their music so I am probably most excited I can stream it on Spotify now more than the new album coming out. That said, I am definitely excited for new Tool.
Tool > the rest
You put Tool and Talyor Swift in the same sentence specifically to trigger us, we see what you did there, we are not amused.
Agree with your point, but I don’t think Kid A deserves to be put in that category.
