I noticed a fire hydrant painted like a minion today. I live in a small town where no one sane would ever attempt viral marketing. WTF is going on with the world?

I hate that she’s been driven off.
Thanks for the article. It’s interesting to know the history.
Lots of candidates are running on similar messages. Isn’t it hypocritical of us to not be calling them out? I don’t get it.
I agree that they should all be paying their interns... that’s why this article should be taking a tone of support for Hillary doing the right thing when everyone else is still doing the wrong thing. This article singles out the one candidate who has decided to break that bad, discriminatory tradition. Should it…
Still not as dangerous as heels... or taking a shower. Probably best to just not get out of bed at all.
Livestock’s not really an excuse. I’m from Texas (where they raise lots of beef) and our water is regulated way more than I’ve been reading about in the Central Valley. It sounds like it’s just a total free-for-all there.
by liberal politicians’ poor decisions - not properly managing our water resources
I’ll buy that.
If being transgender was really about having a biologically different brain, we would make people get a biological test before transitioning. I agree with live and let live.
You are still arguing that the main difference is that one is biological. This is still gender essentialism (which is more usually used to fuel transphobia). I agree that equating the two is silly, but please just don’t use this argument.
Gender is also a social construct. The funny thing is that the gender essentialism usually used to fuel trans(gender)phobia is now being used by Macabre Kitten to defend transgenderism in an extremely twisted way.
Race and gender are both social constructs. Let’s not forget that in this argument.
I agree with where you’re coming from, but please tread lightly on the ‘men and women have different brains’ thing.
I assume the “1 out of 11” refers to speakers at the wider conference. So basically men make up an extreme minority of those speaking, yet all five of the speakers on this panel... making the absence of a woman even more ridiculous.
Obviously:
That study is very old. More recent and reliable estimates reveal that the study derided in that link severly *under*estimaded the number of birds cats kill:
That was such a bizarre time.
I would buy that!
I love the books so I'm pretty sad about this. I've been really disappointed with how the show treats female characters and rape. The show also erases the really interesting moral ambiguity of a lot of the characters. I just don't think it's as good. Oh well.
