As a Jew, I’d find it a little strange, but not at all offensive. As long as it wasn’t done in a mocking manner, I would consider it a heartfelt attempt to connect and empathize with us.

Yeah, that was funny.

Nah, that’s not odd. This is what happens when people appropriate my culture:

Very few do. We’re talking police in a rich area that pays their force very well. In smaller communities, they can be paid more like 20-30k.

Right. Most of what people are outraged about regarding the police is directly because of their union, but for some reason, the police union never seems to enter into that outrage.

Personally, I found it hilarious, but maybe that’s because I like videogames.

Try Scholars and Sorcery. I’ve never read the books myself, but I’ve heard people describe them as “Lesbian Harry Potter”, which sounds good.

God, I need some kind of a hobby. After work I’m too tired to do anything but surf the web, and on the weekend, I’m too lazy to do anything but the same, so I almost never get out of the house except to go to work.

Yeah, that was even stupider than “Dumbledore was always gay, I just never bothered to tell anyone until after all the books were published.”

26 and I still have no idea. I spent 7 years in college because I kept switching majors/putting off declaring a major/I flunked out the first year because I didn’t care enough to actually attend class. After college I found a job that has nothing to do with my degree at a call center, and another after that one moved

No cat pictures. A dog is fine too?

I spent all day helping my little brother move back into our parents house, since he’s apparently completely unable to live in the downtown apartment he rented with his boyfriend a few weeks ago (which I helped move him into). I bust my ass clearing out a room for him downstairs, packing all of his furniture up,

They’re all pretty much interchangeable if you’re not one of the rare few who actually get a job in their field.

It’s part of a story arc.

When I took com 101, it was all about public speaking.

Not a long weekend for me. My normal work week is Tuesday-Saturday. Instead, they’re just paying me 48 hours this week, which is nice.

Pillars of eternity. It took me 40 hours to realize that the story was never going to get any better or more involved. Though to be fair, a lot of that was load times- it took about 4 or 5 minutes every time I had to load a new screen.

They could have, but then all it would take to ruin a movie showing would be some idiot trying to sneak out. And trust me, people do that shit all the time.

And thank God for that, since the only other option would be for movie theaters to start up TSA style lines.

You shouldn’t be allowed to sue a company because they didn’t predict every single eventuality that someone could take advantage of to do something wrong. Before this happened, there was no need for any real security in movie theaters, even for emergency exits. Their job was to let people out in case of emergency, and
