Animal Crossing is enjoyed best in small chunks - I don't think I ever really spent more than an hour or two in a single sitting. So, no wonder you couldn't play it for more than a couple hours at a time!

I'm really excited for this title - Like you, I never got into Harvest Moon but unlike you, I really love Animal Crossing. This title looks to have insane replay value, which is one of the bigger selling points IMO, and it seems to be a game where you can sorta just jump in and out of at your own leisure…

They did say so by mentioning that he'd be "FREE" to those with both games. Meaning those without the two games would need to pay to for him. They never said he would only be available to those with both.
