Definitely, while you may miss having 8 other friends screaming at the same time, the online multiplayer works pretty well.
That was my main fear about the game, but they implement the gimmick in many different ways, it does help a lot that the level design is pretty great!
It is super fun, there’s enough content to keep you hooked to the game for a good amount of time. Plus, the game has online multiplayer and it works pretty well as long as everyone has a stable connection.

Oh sorry ^^ well... the mechanics of the game revolve around that idea of the constant switching of colors, but unlike Ikaruga it is the world that changes, not your character. Platforms that once appeared to be present in the level disappear as soon as their colors matches the one of the background.
