Sample Steve Rogers dialogue: “If someone had told me before the last Civil War that their psychic powers said that my actions would lead to a few blocks of New York randomly getting demolished I’d have totally surrendered!"

I originally read that as Patrice O’Neal and was very confused.

She’s the best.

Does he HAVE to? No. Is it good storytelling to have him? Yes.

And there’s not even that many dragons!

I want to see him fight everything.

With the way Spidey is usually treated in-universe I actually think it’s kinda perfect.

People are talking about a movie who’s sequel is coming out in two weeks, yes.

I didn’t really have as big a problem with that. I can buy that the Kryptonians are assholes. Just needed to be handled better.

My biggest issue with that ending is the tonal inconsistency. You want to write a story where Superman kills a guy after a city’s been flattened? Better not end it with Superman acting indignant that the government would track him, a woman getting hot and bothered by his show of strength, the city seemingly repaired,

“Gary Busey has been cast as Tara Reid’s father in this, the fourth Sharknadomovie.”

I understand all of that, my response was only to the idea that the analogy of a traveling salesperson was nonsense and not something a person in the real world would do.

The traveling salesperson is a classic analogy from computer science, from a time when a common application was minimizing travel time for traveling salespeople.

It is, but not from the points the author emphasizes.

This is a line of thought that should have been pursued in the original story, and the fact that it was not is highly disappointing.

Yay! I watch, but can’t always watch live. I wonder how well it does on hulu.

I always thought Topher was a given name, so I felt kinda bad for the guy. Now that I know it’s a nickname based of Christopher...

Governments are typically ill equipped to handle quick technological change and its effects on society, sadly.

Exactly

Wow really thinking a joke is hack is an opinion I hadn’t realized! Guess I’ll pack it on up, never talk about comedy again! You sure showed me!
