Just so everyone knows, I’ve already declared this officially Schadenfreude Week.
There were so many more more head explosions in that clip than I expected from the film in total (Which was 0.)
Lol
TETSUO!!!!!!!
That’s their Doom.
The thing is, that doesn’t matter. He comes off as insulting and kind of pretentious in this interview, insinuating that FF is a “real” movie compared to that other junk out there. He’s also incorrect on his assumption of how critics have reacted to superhero movies (especially big ones), as they have been pretty well…
I’m fine with Furiosa being a one shot character even though I loved her and Theron’s performance. I like that Mad Max movies each exist in a quasi vacuum.
Yes, more super-powered people on Agents of SHIELD is what everybody wanted right? I know I did.
Rarely are films of this size critically well received... This is not a movie we’re going to go on [review website] Rotten Tomatoes and it’s going to be at 80 or 90 per cent. We did try to do something more than soulless, popcorn action.
First of all, Miles Teller is doing terrible damage control. Seriously, you really shouldn’t insult people that may have enjoyed other superhero movies out there for reasons other than they have ‘splosions in them.
“Good morning and welcome.”
I’ve read the appeal cover to cover. Brady is of course a slick, dynamic protagonist, who’s resourceful and practical in a pinch, but I can’t help but think that he’s a little shallow. I mean, when I broke up with my girlfriend Sally this summer I didn’t throw my phone away or anything, I just deleted her contact.
“...tells a story about who he is that is both truer and more important than the one Twitter would like to read into one goddamn blog post and its cascading fallout. “
Quick, Gawker staff! Flood the comments so no one else’s “who gives a fuck” posts make it through.
Nick Denton should quit.
I’m sure there were a lot of great guys that were also racists in the 1950s who would be looked upon fondly by their friends, but this is 2015 and attacking and publicly shaming homosexuals has to stop and should never be acceptable practice by a private individual much less a media site.
Will there be a Gawker flag for those that died for this flawed and immoral cause? Sort of like the Confederate flag for talentless hacks unable to get hired elsewere?
Gawker writers and editors chose the flattest of hills to die upon.
