As a budding rock climber, and probably future alpine weekend warrior, big kudos to the men and women, and Sherpa who risk life and limb for the sake of science and safety.

Many of us have read about the recent Everest tragedies, but it’s a completely different experience to be on a mountainside when mother nature has

like, an hour or so for me. or at least long enough for me to go about my day without going crazy.

The real kicker is that it’s dead simple and you can do it most anywhere you can get hot water. For those awkward places just use a small cloth

This was my saving grace when I got poison ivy years ago, none of the

Sounds like you were on the verge of burning out. How has that panned out in the last 4 years?

what scooters did you have when you were younger??? because back in the mid 90's had smaller wheels. If you were able to ride a scooter back then, you can now. people are being injured by riding into trees and falling over bumps.

... hell, skateboards have MUCH SMALLER WHEELS than even those old scooters I’m thinking

... is it swiftkey or swipe texting you hate?

Because i use swiftkey sans swipe, and it’s just fine. in fact since i don’t use swipe, a swipe across the keyboard from right to left deletes the last entire word typed. i could accidentally type “jfeirjalfhuewhfuawh” and it ALL goes away with one swipe.

yeah for the most part it’s been user error, and people like Jennings here are blowing it out of proportion.

I’m willing to bet at least 10% of the scooters all around me when i was less than ten years old had defects. The injury rate of my neighborhood, and by extension high school classmates was exceedingly low compared to this.

but then we rode out stuff day in and out and knew every hiccup. difference here is people just

Letting an ambiguous conception of ‘robots’ instead shoulder the blame lets the managerial class evade scrutiny for how it deploys automation, shuts down meaningful discussion about the actual contours of the phenomenon, and prevents us from challenging the march of this manifest robodestiny when it should be

what if I eat first meal at 10-11, second at 4-5, and third at 9-11?

do i just put ‘late’ as a prefix to breakfast lunch dinner?

I don’t trail ‘run’ specifically but I’m on the trails all the time so that’s my POV,

I’m not a car going down the highway, I’ll stop before barreling into the old man who can’t move over in time. Other’s should too, and especially on steep terrain and thin trails people usually take care to allow one or the other to

oh that makes more sense, bummer.

you forgot the mesh tote/backpack/bag

the beach is the place that keeps on giving... sand. It could be days later and then you grab that one thing you left in the car and you’re met with sand pouring into you trunk. Mesh solves that problem pretty well.

Yep chalk me up as another who does “lunch” early.

I usually get up at around 6am and skip breakfast, if anything I might have a snack or a protein shake. Then between 10-11 I’m heading out for my break

The only thing I wish Google Photos would do, is let me have manual access to their Google Assistant creations.

The animations I create from my stills play at a slow frame rate and it looks choppy. The Assistant created ones, using the exact same frames comes out at a much higher quality.

The Assistant also stitches

yes you can, click the checkmark on top left or long press on your phone, then select all the photos you want to delete, and hit trash.

Voila!

judging how Eric admits to using “any old wired headphones” and a $27 Bluetooth is three times his normal spending, and how he included a car stereo(meaning his car is old enough to not be able to....why am I typing so much??)

Eric has old gear, this article is mostly for him

The way I see it, you can either make the weight the independent variable or the reps. In either situation there will be variability in the dependent variable.
