Well, if this place wasn’t already going to shit since the SJWcucks took over. A guy who founded ‘apida online’ (whatever the fuck that is) and who clickbaits fucked out old luxury cars, is now writing about sportsbikes and the stunting scene. Fits with most of the other ‘motoring journalists’ here who have two tenths

M5 from few years ago was amazingly disappointing, along with the RS wagon from audi. 90s hyundai plastic crap interiors on 100k+ cars.. My 90s daily camry beater has better plastic quality.

Looks like a cashed up SUV moron yuppie ride, next to a Rolls.

Most jalop ‘journalists’ don’t know shit about cars. The content here is un-researched, car-soap rubbish 99% of the time.

Lol you guys put the R32 on such a pedestal. Don’t mean to disappoint but they’re pretty slow or average compared to average cars of today, unless you seriously modify them. Not particularly light for an older car and the power isn’t very high stock. 180kmh limiter from Japan.. so yes, an NZDM camry of the same age,

Haha, meanwhile in NZ/AU/JP etc, where we’ve had these cars since day one, the exact opposite holds true. We don’t get all the ‘murica, so it’s special for us. We do get some though.

Looks like it’s fueled by more crack than a Wiegert Vector. That said I always have wanted a Vector. All childhood fantasy cars, smashed/rolled into one.

I forgot to add the C4 LT1 vette (knight rider!), C6 Z06, ‘15 Z/28 (unless they make a later LS7 equivalent NA).

Because idiots a little younger than myself are able to afford them, but can’t afford new rear tyres or sense. They don’t step out unless you’re absolutely fucking fanging it, if you have good rubber. They’re also pretty easy to catch and correct if they do. But used to race superbikes so that makes cars seem a little

Agreed. Had one as a big poster on my wall (a 2m wide dealership advertisement poster I still have!) as a kid and always desired them. They look amazing. My uncle and brother also love them.. my brother worked at the dealership and got to take the v8 model for a romp.

S2000 outside of west coast USA, are rather rare. Especially JDM/RHD countries and EU. Their values are already increasing if not bottomed out, distance/condition dependent.

Check out the LS swapped one on YT... now that looks hellishly good fun :)

Opel GT its based off in EU, was worth ~16-20k euro in .de last year when I looked.. they really retained prices. Same cost as an S2K over there and they’re similar levels of rare there (as with here in New Zealand/Australia). Seems they all went to the west coast of USA lol.

Wow! Yeah keep that puppy locked up for some time. Resist the temptation to maggie/tvs it etc..

They even hold value here in New Zealand, the G8 GXP equivalent (we get magnetic suspension and some other extra goodies on the HSV), goes for ~60%-70% of its’ new price even now 7 years later..

Almost identical sales figure/market position as S2000, which is still a superior car to the BRZ86, is now appreciating or at bottom of the curve depending on kms... so yes they are likely to do that also in due course but I don’t think they have as much stigma/pedigree as S2k.. needs more touge/race wins first ;)

You yanks and your 3000GT fetish. I’m calling it - they are not going to be a ridiculously valuable collectable in future. Bitch to work on, no major wow factor but yeah they’ll go up in value a bit due to uniqueness. But they never were anything super special, no race pedigree, not very rare in JDM countries etc.. I

Yeah all those Russian TOW-71s and Russian HJ-8s and Russian M16 copies which the Russians supplied ISIS with? Is that what CNN tell you these days lol..

It’s what happens when the marketing department gets into the thesauruss after too much sake.. ‘OH LOOK A GIANT ENGLISH WORD MOST ENGLISH SPEAKERS DONT USE LETS USE TAHT IT LOOKS SOFISTIKATED’. This seems to be the thought process.

Some of the fastest street cars in the world have a 2-4 speed auto, without the electric motors. Still laughing?
