It, like every Ford, switched to Sync3 for the 2016 model year.

But it’s an Audi and will resale better than a VW.
I think it’s kind of ironic—VW is pushing this into the U.S. despite what are probably going to be dismal sales figures; why can’t they just send us a Passat wagon instead which would have similarly awful sales figures but actually offer something that we can’t otherwise get? I guess maybe there are still more sales…
I’m gonna say it...
I’m happy with my 500L. The dual-clutch transmission took a bit getting used to. I found that gas mileage seems much touchier with speed than a lot of cars. If we drive 80MPH or so it drops to about 30MPG. I do like the midrange spike in torque from the 1.4T, makes it fun around town compared to most economy type…
The pet gator gets to ride shotgun. The kids go on the roof.
Pretty tame for Florida, especially Miami. If he was snorting coke off the dash while shooting an AK47 out the window and had his pet alligator on the roof, then that might be a newsworthy Florida story.
Yeah. The new styling direction of Lincoln show cars just made all of their SUVs and cars have a different grille every few years and other vehicles never matched it.
Most of us don’t need a 6' bed. It literally never comes up in my day-to-day. Having a 5' bed for cargo and yard waste would be very convenient.
I can’t speak for all manufacurers, but, where pre-production vehicles are built generally depends on how far away they are from launch. For example, early “engineering mules” might be cobbled together from existing platforms for testing of new components like cooling systems, etc.
Smartest play:
whats wrong w/that is that this idiot was already “earning” 10s of millions of dollars. He can pay his kids own damn tuition. When youre rich you get an astonishing amount of things for free. Its really uncanny.. But remember its the poors who should be scolded for “taking” entitlements.
There was sooooo much potential with these little cars. Give them more power, bring the roadster here, make them cheap fun, SOMETHING ! But they just weren't expanded upon. It's like a cheese pizza. Good foundation, but not exciting at all.
Daimler seems to have been actively trying to kill Smart in the US for years now.
Daimler: “Let’s make a two-seater that’s not fun to drive, can barely go highway speeds and sell it for more than a mid-sized Honda.”
Probably a fellow Jalop who goes by Miss Mercedes.
It might have been the peak, but there was still a downward slope on the other side of it.
Mainly the head gaskets. And dealers that didn’t know how to service them. My dad loved them and bought 4 over time. They were notorious for blowing gaskets. Then the dealer would improperly follow the repair procedures, and cause the new head gasket to blow. Repeat ad infinitum.
The Borrego would have lived on but it was released in a really bad time. The world was having the recession at the time.
IIRC, I think puking rainbows refers to seeing something cute, so we’re all good!
