If you travel and have to rent, SilverCar is the greatest thing ever. They only rent current model year Audi A4's, and for roughly the same price of a regular car rental. Needless to say, when I got to drive an A4 over a base Chrysler 200 or a "Brand new!" minivan, I started being a lot more ok with traveling.

Blind spot monitoring systems make you a safer, more aware driver on the highway and in the city. Some have a light that illuminates on the mirror to let you know if a car is in your blind spot, and some have an additional, angled mirror to augment your view behind. Both are equally useful.
