Poor man’s heated seat - buy one of those really cheap seat cover-ish pads, and put it underneath a real seat cover. Then hardwire the plug under your floor mats to the dash, and hide the toggle switch under the lip of the seat cover.

The Honda Element had an optional seat back bar you could use with the tailgate.
