I take your point. That rat was just doing rat things though - looking for garbage, etc. Trump is such an evil piece of shit that this analogy actually made me feel defensive for the rat.

I hate him.
It’s easy to say “what’s the big deal” when talking about Game & Watch fire attack in the abstract, but its operating in several real world contexts, including centuries of genocide, oppression, and ongoing discrimination against indigenous people. For just as long, stereotypes have been used to denigrate and deny…
Have you ever considered NOT looting all the bodies around?
Then don’t! Did you know that’s an option?? Take your impatient self on to something else. Boo effing hoo.
Your a wizard Harry! Really Harry? Yes, Harry you are. Now on to meet your Headmaster Harry, Harry. But look out for the evil wizard he-who-must-not-be-named for he killed your parents. You mean Harry killed my parents?! NOOOOOO Harry don’t say his name.
I agree with this 100%. By far my favorite game of the last generation. Great characters, a great plot, excellent pacing. It was brutal, exhausting, and made you feel like Max. Only thing I hated was the unskippable cut scenes.
Mafia 3 has bullet time and feels like Max Payne 2? Well now I’m way more interested...
I first played through Half - Life in 2005 and even then that tram section blew me away. At this point I’ve played it dozens of times and I get bored, but man if it isn’t a super cool atmospheric start to a game.
If they intend to remake the entire game, it’s going to look just as outdated as Black Mesa (relatively speaking) when it comes out in 10 years.
For somebody who had a 26 year career she definitely did the work of a 50 year career. Retire well, Queen.
FF8 gets forgotten...
I only just recently played this from my massive backlog. It wasn’t even pretending it wasn’t Twin Peaks: the game. But it does the homage very lovingly.
What a load of horseshit. They press us common folks immediately after an incident, no time to breathe or even wash the blood off, but they get time to compose themselves?
“I mean, we have not interviewed her.”
My first reaction to your post was, “Well, cops are pretty much always put on leave after such a shooting.”
They’re not going to find out any such thing because for that to happen they’ll have to test her for drugs and I don’t see that happening. I could be wrong, maybe a miracle will happen or the cops will close ranks and somehow claim that this bitch was scared for her life and had to shoot a man in a confrontation she…
Because when one person murders another what you have to do is give them time to get their story correct and maybe dig up some dirt on the victim.
That was my first thought, too: drugs. I get being tired after a long shift, but being too tired to recognise your own living room or rather, too tired to recognise NOT-your-own living room? I mean, WTF?
Wow! This is crazy. To add some context, this place is huge - it’s an old Sears plant that was converted to loft style apartments years ago. The place does have a weird layout but there’s pretty close to no way this officer walked into a unit and mistook it for her own. Each unit is really different from the next one.…
