I woke up this morning with 2 kitties on me. One on my stomach and one on my legs, it was wonderful.

So I’ve heard sporadically over the past few years that I have issues with anger. I particularly get angry over stupid trivial stuff, and I had something of an episode about it last night and I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it and can help me understand it a little bit better.

Except they won't say so because they don't want to piss off Evangelicals, so they're just liars.

I recently watched that documentary about the Price is Right contestant that studied prices for decades, and Bob Barker says some pretty sketchy things in it. The thing that stuck out the most was a throwaway thought that went something like "So and so was a great producer, he would protect us you know if something

I agree with others that either option is hilarious.

I think Avenatti is referring to Biff Loman, the eldest son in Death of a Salesman.

It’s funny, Ambassador to the UN was the position Frank Underwood gave to Claire Underwood in House of Cards. We could have had life imitating art

Everyone’s been making adjustments to keep safe, nothing has happened since Monday

It’s all good, I'm drinking and watching the news too!

That’s news to me! I've been googling it like every hour and I haven't heard that announcement yet, was it just on the news?

Yup that's exactly the playbook.

That’s clarifies a lot! And yeah if I’m making a trip to visit someone I would definitely be more engaged with them and seek out things to do. I’ve known people that do exactly what you describe, one of my friends has “What they like to do” and always finds a way get everyone else to join *him* instead of him joining *

You know, I’m definitely one to get excited when hosting someone and I overplan like crazy. I kind of work myself up and set expectations of how it’ll be and am inevitably underwhelmed and disappointed when I don’t get to do everything. Part of that is just the fact that we’re getting older and busier and aren’t

That’s good! We need more stories like this.

The police made it a point to say that they wouldn’t decrease their presence in Rogers Park regardless of the verdict.

Yeah super scary. Usually shootings are targeted and one-off, but every indication is that these were thrill kills of some sort. The only lead anyone has to go on is that the shooter is a tall and skinny guy with a strange duck-walk.

Thank you, I hope they catch him soon as well. The families deserve justice

Yeah everyone is on edge, but still going about their business. Definitely makes something like walking to the grocery store have higher stakes.

Goose Island 312. And yes Splinter gets on my nerves quite often. I get extra upset at specious reasoning when it's being made on my side of the political spectrum

Oh wow, early!
