My alcoholic parent was my Mom, and my Dad had the steady income so he never got shit like that, if anything Al-Anon was there to absolve any guilt he might have had. Alateen was the biggest waste of time in my life, though I do want to make a weird teen-bopper pop group called The Alateens.

I mean of course it affects the child, and part of that in my experience was "Why the hell do I have to go to these damn meetings as long as they keep drinking? Please stop drinking so I can stop going to these damn meetings. I could be playing GameCube right now."

Thank you. I understand the thought, but after a childhood of being told that "Alcoholism is a Family Disease"  I side-eye majorly after hearing such sentiments. It pissed me off being called sick because of the continuing actions of another person.

The class I’ve been teaching started their showcase this weekend, I’m up in Wisconsin hanging with my best friends, and my boyfriend got some work thank god.

You really just wanted to say something bad about Olivia Munn.

I mean, frankly yes about the Burger King thing to an extent. There are higher level brackets of employment where one might have the clout to demand to not work with a registered sex offender. Decently successful Hollywood actress seems to be one of them, and even then I still think she's going out on a limb career

There are a lot of economist terms in there. I’d think Larry Kudlow, however he’s relatively new to the administration so he wouldn’t be privvy to early talks about invoking the 25th amendment.

Larry Kudlow has used Lodestar in the past, and several other unique phrases used in the op-ed.

The movie version of Much Ado About Nothing agrees with you

Fucking insane. The officer considers going to the hospital for withdrawal symptoms to be “getting what you want”? I’m so tired of of people who have no clue how these situations work having the authority to make these decisions.

Seems like he was actually out playing golf during all of it.

Still thinking it’ll run one season, and everyone will get their paycheck and have the year to make new plans. There will be high ratings for the premiere out of curiosity and then it’ll drop cause there’s no audience for it anymore.

Well the part that makes it sexist is that for a long long time offices were cooled to accommodate men wearing full suits and jackets in the summer. I know there's the "you can throw on a sweater" argument but at some point too cold is just too cold.

My absolute favorite combat system of all time, I measure all JRPGs how they measure up to it.

I love her and I love Pose immensely. I hope to see her in movies and TV for a long time, she's super talented and deserves any success that comes her way. Honestly I think that about the whole cast, I just freaking love that show

It’s disgusting how happy the Republicans must have been to learn about the killers immigration status. The perfect narrative dropped into their lap and they took to it with absolute glee, doesn’t matter one bit to them that they’re exploiting her death for cheap political gain.

Lol the dude thinks everyone said what they said because of his comment, what a little prick.

Now playing

*Edit* damn, didn't watch enough of the video, got the wrong one

In my college playwriting class our final project was to write a one-act play which the class would read aloud, and this one guy turns in his already written screenplay as his final. It was the most poorly written, most blatantly misogynistic thing I’ve ever read. I would have kept a copy for sure if the professor
