They have a typo. It's supposed to be 1920x1200. But, the new iPad will almost definitely make it to market first.

Websites? Yeah, that's why every computer monitor, desktop or laptop, is 16:9 or 16:10. Including apples. And I just measured out 3 hardcover novels I have and the individual pages are closer to a 16:9 format than 4:3.

It still can't show a 1080p video at 16:9 full screen.

I also noticed that although the overall panel has such a high resolution, it still doesn't appear to be able to show a 16:9 video at full 1080p at the video's largest possible size.

While I'm sure the bump in resolution is very nice, the fact is that ever since getting my PS Vita LCD screens just look shabby to me. Just check out Rayman or when the King of the Cosmos summons a rainbow. The colors and black levels make LCD look washed out. Technically LCD IS washed out due to the nature of the

    How about beige tinted aluminum?

They fancy themselves journalists and journalists fancy themselves writers and for some reason almost every professional writer uses an apple pc or laptop.

Atheism. Religion. Neither can or will ever be able to tell me what happens after I die. Both are full of theories that the believers insist are facts. I understood where you were coming from, though. I abhor militant anything, religious or atheist.

    Oops! Read that wrong!

Yeah, that would make a hell of a interesting film or play. This guy, as terrible as he is, sounds like a very colorful person. He'd make a great antagonist! 'Fried Green Butter'!

I Love the insightful stories Bashcraft writes about the goings on in Japan. I've always been intrigued by the Japanese culture and idiosyncrasies, compared to American ones, and his posts are exactly that. To hell with the naysayers! Keep them coming! Maybe someday I'll actually get a chance to visit Japan and I'll

    Scumbag Shahid?

One of my favorite stories of all time is Ray Bradbury's 'All Summer in a Day'. It's the story of a classroom of children living on Venus and only getting to see the sun for one hour every seven years. Of course we know now that Venus is quite different from what Bradbury imagined it might be like, but it's a lovely

You can also turn those notifications off. I do it all the time on my iPad. Why Gizmodo tryin' to sell me ebook reader?

No, the point is if they WERE to crash there wouldn't be any one on board that might die or be seriously injured.

    Hope they kept the receipt.

Writers tend to flock to Apple products and every good writer knows that people have to see you writing in order for it to be good.
