This is in reference to folks who want to do away with taxes, but John Scalzi coined the remarkable phrase “thin strips of objectivist jerky” to describe them:
The same reason people have any post-apocalyptic fantasy. They imagine all they need to truly shine in this world is a chance to face hardship and brutality with greater brutality.
I sometimes hold them up with both hands while watching television if it’s hot and I don’t want a bra on. It’s weirdly comforting as well as comfortable!

Whatever, teachers aren’t saints and everyone has to blow off steam about their work. It’s also a well known fact that teenagers are awful (I can say that, having once been an awful teen myself). Maybe work on your firewalls or something.
I feel like these are two people I met a long time ago at a job I used to have but haven’t seen since. They sent me an invitation to the wedding, but not the reception (which was cash bar anyway, so SUCKED) and also noted in the invite where they’re registered.
Frankly, all soft skills. There’s never *not* a good time to improve them.
I love it when people brag about their education while completely missing the point AND using terrible grammar.
