And two weeks later, find yourself being pulled over, at gun point, for reported vehicle theft...and that it’s a vehicle associated with Musk just makes it a double ‘ah, hell naw’!

He has hired them back I believe. Or at least rebuilt the team. He's not stupid. Just crazy.
It’s a very common term in car racing as it’s why certain car productions even exist to qualify them as “stock” production cars for racing. The Mercedes 500E, Audi S1/S2, the BMW M3, the Mercedes CLK GTR, the Ferrari Challenge series, and, most famously, the Ferrari GTO series (the “O” in “GTO” is “Omologato” — the…
Donut (R.I.P.) taught me this word, though I have yet to have occasion to use it in casual conversation.
Except for the blue lights I could see doing this on our side of the pond. Oh, and the right hand drive, Oh never mind the RHD that would really freak people
In car enthusiast circles, it’s a VERY common word.
Something horrible happened to me last night. I went with my kids to a neighborhood which has great Christmas decorations. We walked past a house that had wonderful decorations, kind words of encouragement for passers-by, and a Cybertruck in the driveway. As I looked at the truck, Christmas lights reflecting off it’s…
30 or 40 employees? For a pizza front?
Not sure this is what dreams are made of.
I generally side with the pizzeria. Cool, clever (and probably very instagrammable) way to sell a slice… to play devils advocate though. If this bus slides, I don’t think it’d be too long until every Rays pizza has a big yellow billboard out front taking up 3 spaces in the most densely populated city in the country.
I’m half tempted to suck it up and go see some family and dine on the bus where dreams come true.
We should of already cut ties (literally) with the Russian portions of the ISS.... you know for science.
Is anyone surprised that so few of the reservations turned into actual orders? Not only the price of the Cybertruck was not what was promised, but the whole “exoskeleton” design (that was supposed to be the Cybertruck’s main innovation and give it superior range via weight savings) never materialized, instead the…
Tesla’s real business model is fast-charging stations. Tesla is not in the car business, they are in the EV charging business, in the same way cable companies are not in the set-top box business, they are in the cable business. The electric car is needed to consume the fast-charging service, but it’s not the real…
Bradley’s 37 (or something) cars and bikes, each in its own glorious state of (dis)repair, are strewn across the land like Nick Cannon’s children.
“I’m pretty sure that there isn’t a Jalopnik reader out there who doesn’t have a can of WD-40 kicking around their house or garage somewhere.”
/raises hand
Nope, not me. If I want a lubricant, there are better options. If I want a penetrating oil, there are *way* better options. Last time I used WD-40 was for its…
$20k price bump for badges, etc. Take off badges, still full price piece of shit with terrible build quality.
It is also not a good lubricant. The “Water Displacement” aspect evaporates any and all moisture. If you use it as a lubricant, it will work but only briefly.
Any bets on what date the US government will suddenly require thousands of stainless steel-bodied electric vehicle for official duties?
And it will actually make things rust. I learned that the hard way years ago with a truck full of tools I wanted to “protect”.
