The research that should be used more is getting drones to perch. One could have drones perch on the tops of state highway signs, for example. For bonus points, locate some chargers as well.

It does look pretty neat at night, especially in person (it’s bigger than it looks). But it doesn’t really fit in, that’s for sure. Downtown Phoenix has changed a lot in the last decade or so, I would not be surprised if it gets taken down at some point in the near-ish future.
