I mean, if you want someone to phone it in, you get Kirk Cameron. But if you want a savage you get Fred ... Savage.

As one of the few people (as far as I know) who watched the recent The Man Who Fell to Earth series, I keep thinking about switching the leads of those two shows, both of whom are playing aliens-in-human-bodies-to-often-comical -effect.

It’s not entirely NOT bad sci-fi. Greek gods as advanced beings. It helps to watch with perspective rather than just take the whole thing on its own terms. This is an enjoyable behind the scenes. There’s also an epic How Did This Get Made? episode that’s sometimes free.

Yes, he talked like that in BB. I think he sounded much more in-character in this episode.

Marion finding out about Saul on AskJeeves is a lovely little touch that made me chuckle.

Jeff also knows that if Saul is caught in the house, he could be implicated in their previous crimes (which Saul explicitly threatened to do). This wasn’t Jeff panicking, this was a diversion. I didn’t think there was any other way to read it. I also noticed that in the phone call to Kim, Saul is STILL unsure about

Maybe it was just from watching the show in a really bright living room...but is Kim putting together a completely tan puzzle?  I thought maybe it was just washed out on my TV, but did she create a cover life so bland she puts together solid color puzzles?

Yea it's how he talked. But you're still on to something here. I noticed that too.

He was so hammy in that scene. It’s like he’s been playing parody versions of Jesse for so many years post BB that he doesn’t know how to dial the character back. I don’t remember Jesse saying “yo” twice in every sentence.

As a brunette, Kim looked like Kirstin Dunst. Her boyfriend looked a bit like Jesse Plemons. So I had some Fargo Season 2 vibes from their scene.

You’re misremembering and misinterpreting. Jeff clearly freaked out and panicked, not a planned crash. There was no genius part of this plan, just Saul acting out & pushing the limits. No items where previously stolen other than personal info photos.

Who knew the entire Breaking Bad universe was really just an extended LifeAlert commercial? They’ve really upped their ad game.

It’s worth a watch. The music is enjoyable, ONJ is as beautiful as ever, and it has that ‘so bad it’s fun’ quality. Just make sure to be in the right mood for it.

Symbolism of the lyrics aside, biggest laugh of the episode for me was Gene doing that thing we’ve all done, belting into the chorus of a song, before faltering on realising it’s gone back into the verse, mumbling along to the lyrics you don’t really remember, until the chorus comes back around... “The TIDE IS HIGH,

And speaking of sloppy, maybe when you call the mother of your criminal associate— whom she knows got into legal trouble in the city that you had to flee and assume another identityto tell her he’s been arrested, don’t act like you, ostensibly a Cinnabon manager, have a thorough understanding of the difference

That’s a great clip. Is that original sound?

It’s a bad week for Aussie icons. Nervously waiting for ‘things happen in threes’

Such a great show; I love it!

Definitely “poor people food” and I grew up eating ALOT of it...got a can of Spam for kicks a while back and it was BAD. Same for Beanie Weenies...and I imagine these bastards as well.

I believe IMDB is showing 10 episodes because the first season was 10 and they never officially announced the number of episodes for season 2.  But I think S2 will be 16 in total, so 8 to come.
