How often do trucks like that parallel park? Also is that maybe 6 extra inches what’s really causing the problem?

Well, maybe. But as someone else pointed out, he's got the seat reclined, and appeared to have woken up briefly. There's falling asleep, and then there's premeditated napping.

But...but...but with any other car without Autopilot he would have drifted, crashed and possibly seriously injured or killed. Autopilot is AKCHUALLY saving him right now by taking over the car and safely maintaining speed distance and direction. Elon is a genius!

No....no it’s not. Sociopathic behavior in the work place is usually rewarded with high paying jobs. Dude is going to take take a nap in his 70k car while driving because he wants to. He gives 0 fucks about you or your safety.

When you remove all the active inputs of driving out of the equation, your mind starts shutting down attentive processing.  So basically, imagine you’re just sitting in the passenger seat on a long car ride.  

As I've posted before, and will post until my thumbs fall off: WHY IS THIS ALLOWED TO BE A THING?!? They regulate what kind of freaking TAILLIGHTS can be on a car but "autopilot" is ok? I predict that soon the most desirable cars will be analog commuters from the 90's. 

They should be charged with reckless endangerment.

Exactly. What are they supposed to do? Fireman carry the corpse out of there right away? Close the station and subway line until the proper authorities arrive? They cordoned off the area and hid the carcass as best they could until the cadaver movers could take care of the situation. It seems that snowflakes are…

If they shut down service everyone would be complaining about that instead. Not saying this was OK, but there is no way to handle this situation without everyone bitching about it.
