How often do trucks like that parallel park? Also is that maybe 6 extra inches what’s really causing the problem?
Sorry Ford, this doesn’t even remotely meet my mobile entertainment needs:
And when the inevitable sleeping person behind the wheel of a Tesla with Autopilot on crashes and kills someone else, they’ll just scream that the sleeper was using it wrong. You can’t interrupt that kind of circle-jerk.
Well, maybe. But as someone else pointed out, he's got the seat reclined, and appeared to have woken up briefly. There's falling asleep, and then there's premeditated napping.
THIS. All of this. My OEM LED tail lights with separate amber signal on my GTI are technically not legal in the US. But clowns like this can roam the roads freely? Get out of here.
But...but...but with any other car without Autopilot he would have drifted, crashed and possibly seriously injured or killed. Autopilot is AKCHUALLY saving him right now by taking over the car and safely maintaining speed distance and direction. Elon is a genius!
No....no it’s not. Sociopathic behavior in the work place is usually rewarded with high paying jobs. Dude is going to take take a nap in his 70k car while driving because he wants to. He gives 0 fucks about you or your safety.
When you remove all the active inputs of driving out of the equation, your mind starts shutting down attentive processing. So basically, imagine you’re just sitting in the passenger seat on a long car ride.
As I've posted before, and will post until my thumbs fall off: WHY IS THIS ALLOWED TO BE A THING?!? They regulate what kind of freaking TAILLIGHTS can be on a car but "autopilot" is ok? I predict that soon the most desirable cars will be analog commuters from the 90's.
They should be charged with reckless endangerment.
Why are all these Tesla drivers so tired? That’s the big question.
Seriously, the behavior of these Tesla drivers is shocking
Or if no involuntary “Woooo!” is heard, the system could gently start closing the sunroof until you get a voluntary “Woooo!” or “Oooow!”
A total nightmare is a life or psychosis that would lead one to throw oneself in front of a train.
I agree and in a case like this, there isn't really any good way to handle the situation. This station is major station and I'm not sure what shutting it down would have accomplished
Exactly. What are they supposed to do? Fireman carry the corpse out of there right away? Close the station and subway line until the proper authorities arrive? They cordoned off the area and hid the carcass as best they could until the cadaver movers could take care of the situation. It seems that snowflakes are…
If they shut down service everyone would be complaining about that instead. Not saying this was OK, but there is no way to handle this situation without everyone bitching about it.
I want that when I die. Even if not on a plane.
I think I heard once that BA used to put a gin and tonic and a daily mail in front of passengers who died during flights to make it look like they were sleeping.
