Yep, you’re right. It is a systemic problem when we have so many people in this country that can’t do basic math. I blame the schools.

100% agree with this. You know the first thing I did when I moved out of my parents house at 20? Ran up 7 grand in debt on a high-interest credit card that took 7 years to pay down.

People need to be taught personal finance in primary school. More than just a semester.
