I’m not sure we were watching the same presentation, and I think the stock market disagrees with you too, because during Miscrosoft’s presentation their stocks dropped, but Sony’s rose during their presentation.
I think Sony killed it. Almost everything I saw at their showcase had my heart racing (well except for Call of Duty but I’m not really that kind of gamer anyway.)
11 million copies in 1997 was a really big deal. Especially when gaming wasn’t anything near the mainstream force it is now. Plus GTAV was released across multiple platforms. Final Fantasy 7 had one.
I didn’t get the same energy from the microsoft showcase that I did from the ps4 showcase. I’m sure it’s just a matter of perspective, but I seriously think Sony kicked the shit out of Microsoft this e3.
