I know, right?

I’ll admit when I first heard of the crossover I was hoping we’d see the same story from two different perspectives, one animated and one live-action. Certainly not complaining about any of it, and I loved the bit at the end — the fact there’s an in-character justification for that brief segment was a lot more

Get a can of sweetened condensed milk. Mix it with a can of thawed frozen lemonade concentrate. Fold in a whole tub of Cool Whip. That’ll fill up two Keebler 9-inch Graham Cracker Crusts. Throw in the freezer overnight. Lemon pie.

Somebody should explain that to the studio (I don’t know which one) that, reportedly, was offering to pay writers under the table to bring them out to the UK to keep working during the early weeks of the strike.

There used to be a local place that had, at one time, as many as seven(!) ghost kitchens. Like, they were doing this pre-pandemic (though I don’t think they had as many then), before the term ‘ghost kitchen’ was well-known. The original was a sub place called ‘Sandwich U’ (whose primary attraction to the local college

Yeah but, like, Ruby Tuesday (the local host of the MrBeast ghost kitchen) isn’t going to put their already-busy main cooks on a side-project that primarily exists to eat up another slot on delivery apps’ restaurant lists. Nope, that job is going to people on punishment detail or the newbies who just started and are

To be fair, that’s what most fast food sandwiches look like when you actually open them up.

Don’t forget your PIN number!

Gameplay-wise NitW and DE are extremely different, but it’s not too hard to read between the lines and see a lot of similarities between the creators’ personal philosophies and political viewpoint.

While not specifically a board games-related thing, once at an RPG publisher’s panel at Gencon, during the Q&A portion, someone asking a question rattled off their name and what was either their YouTube channel or their podcast like they were being called on at a White House press briefing, and I felt genuine disgust.

I just wish companies like Heinz would put out little mini sampler packs of their weird sauces and combos, because some of them I’d like to try but I don’t want to get stuck with a whole bottle of something if I don’t like it.

I’d be willing to bet that the thinking is that anyone who gives a crap about the details of the situation can/will look that up themselves, and customizing the signs is more for the strikers’ own morale.

At the risk of sounding paranoid, consider that any form of major media relies on the largesse of The Industry to make rent, between those who work directly for the studios and those who require positive relations with the studios to get material. Which means that it’s actually in the AV Club’s interests to

Every scene stayed in the picture, including “some great moments when Black Adam is in the fly bike-chase sequence and drops one of the intergang soldiers” or [SPOILERS] “this great moment where the truck bounces over the body.”

It’s so the Elliot-Ross can show up in Secret Wars, No Way Home-style.

Yeah, I hope they find the actual killer, too. I openly admit that when I first heard of the case via Serial, I totally thought he did it (though for what it’s worth, I didn’t think it was premeditated). Mostly because at the time everyone was led to believe there weren’t any other viable suspects. But I also felt

That is possible, though the cell tower data is so shaky I do wonder how much chicken-and-egg is going on there. But I haven’t kept up on the research and details.

Yeah, I knew about the other suspects from the initial announcement, and at first I’d missed the thing about the DNA.

Yeah, I realized afterwards that I misread the tone of your post. Sorry about that.

And I said all that before watching the video, which mentions that apparently there’s DNA evidence that proves Adnan’s innocence. So I guess that does bring us back around to “What about Jay.” Because that’s a very good question now.
