That seems like a pretty reasonable guess. IMHO, even if they didn’t have it connected to a specific agent, a functional SHIELD gadget that could maybe be analyzed or traced to find hiding SHIELD agents, hidden shield tech, or both would still be damn valuable.

Damn near every one of these looks like that in the first trailer, even if the final movie winds up looking very different (Guardians of the Galaxy in particular comes to mind).

I wouldn’t rule out excessive drunk-tipping if he’s so wasted he’s ordering hundreds of dollars in Taco Bell, but you make several good points.

“Why would they have Kingpin show up for a single episode of a TV show that’s not entirely about him or one of his comic book nemeses and not have him spend 3/4 of it staring blankly into the camera, rattling off a list of his prior unrelated adventures for context?” — This article in a nutshell.

It’s a shame that the whole thing still kind of sank the Rangers spinoff, and I’m hoping they get it going again once they get the other shows squared away.

Similarly, Gina Carano wasn’t legally “fired” from The Mandalorian. The producers of the show simply decided to write her character out of the third season, and they don’t need to justify this kind of decision, given that Carano hadn’t signed anything for a third season.

I’m not gonna deny, even ignoring my feelings on Mark Millar’s work and adaptations of said work, few things will put me off a movie like the director talking up the violence like an excited college freshman who just learned what a keg stand is and thinks it’s the most epic thing ever.

I’d assume a big chunk of the unaccounted-for cash is tax and/or driver tip.

Not necessarily. There’s a reason why mobile games with microtransactions sometimes have to put in safeguards to keep kids from spending hundreds of dollars on magic stars or whatever without their parents’ approval. I haven’t used the Uber Eats app, but I have trouble imagining it’s beyond a clever five-year old.

But what constitutes “the right balance” of crust and toppings?

That’s my thinking. I’d have to dig it up, but I recall hearing about a study some years ago about sexual assault on college campuses that strongly suggests that the people who do it either do it once (probably while intoxicated) and that’s it, or they do it multiple times as a pattern of predatory behavior. Not a lot

Yeah, that’s obviously some “please let me have a career after this”-driven bullshit, given the sheer amount of show bible material he’s shared over the years for the four more seasons he had planned. (Supposedly, what got the show cancelled is he tried to get HBO to commit to the rest of the show up front.)

I enjoyed it for the most part, though my biggest (but not only) complaint about it is that it establishes all these big cosmic stakes implying some gonzo weirdness down the line... that’s all still mostly resolved with a video game boss fight on the beach. That said, I think the Rotten Tomatoes score and critical

I’ve got a challenge for everyone: Try not to imagine what Tails and Knuckles would have looked like had the studio insisted on sticking with the original Sonic design.

Ooooh, that’s a good catch.

My roommate and I have been theorizing on what Laura’s deal is. While I doubt they’ll get into it on the show with two episodes left in the season, the casual ease with which she handles looking into front companies on Clint’s behalf and having light, breezy conversations about him being a vigilante serial killer for

That’s certainly possible.

Yeah, I had that as well. And it was more than worth it.

Fair enough. I do still wonder where they’ve gotten their resources for traveling, supplies, etc. At least a quick scene of one of them pawning something and winning a couple of long shot sports bets. (Liverpool’s had a football team since 1892, so Dan probably knows a few historical games they could bet on.)

To be fair, if In-N-Out wins the lawsuit against this smaller restaurant with less of a legal team budget, they might try to parlay that into a precedent they can use to go after Five Guys and others.
