I recall that some of Twyla’s specials (like her ‘made from whatever’s in the back’ smoothie of the day) weren’t great, but I don’t recall the place as a whole being awful.

Thor unburdening himself on her seems pretty likely, honestly. But also, though, if Darcy’s reached the point in her academic life that she’s consulting on stuff like the Hex, there’s a pretty good chance she’s acquired the sort of clearance to get official details from some agency or other (especially if Thor’s put…
To be fair, Heidi has every reason to assume that anyone still willing to even privately associate with her and Ted after the last four years is probably the same flavor of sociopath.
Good point, I’d forgotten about that.
I actually can’t recall the last time I saw a sign warning me about turning my cell phone off while gassing up the car, honestly. I wish I could dig up the source, but I remember when this all first got stirred up years ago, some engineer crunched the numbers and determined that you’re more likely to be literally struc…
Up until this current run of Disney+ shows, all of the Marvel/MCU-adjacent shows (AoS, the Netflix series, etc). were basically handled by a different section of the company outside of Feige’s purview. It was a firmer separation of those two chunks of the company that are the reason why the Inhumans movie vanished…
Such an amazing episode.
Topher Grace did one of those, too, actually. He never distributes these, but after playing David Duke in BlacKkKlansman he edited the Hobbit trilogy down to a single movie as sort of a psychic enema to decompress afterwards.
Probably too mainstream for his ‘refined’ tastes.
Now this just reminds me of how badly I’d want to see the thing Topher Grace did where he edited the entire prequel trilogy down to a coherent, watchable film.
There are a lot of stuff touching on this in the Octo-Expansion as well (some of it hints, some of it outright saying something to the effect of “[redacted] is some human scientist’s project gone horribly wrong”), and hints on some of the stages like the Ruins of Ark Polaris map for Salmon Run.
It’s cool.
I just wanna say that Paul Bettany is brilliant in these moments, and over the course of the show in general. Pivoting from sitcom shenanigans to anger to forced-smile-sitcom-dad and beyond at the drop of a hat. Elizabeth Olsen is amazing as well but I just wanted to point out the sheer range that Paul has shown.
I believe they were, but this is the internet we’re talking about. I could see him being careful.
I’m not getting angry at all, I just got this weird vibe like I was reading it differently than everyone else, which I probably was.
Fair enough.
I’m assuming David’s initial silence was probably because he’s got a sexual harassment lawsuit on his own resume and felt that this was not a pool he needed to wade into.
I keep mine in a container that’s got a valve in it much like the ones in the foil bags. I used to have this battery-powered vacuum canister that would actively pump out the CO2 on a regular basis, but it wore down and I could never find a replacement.
Well, somebody’s gotta bring the producers their coffee.
I wonder about whatever happened with Gal Godot as well given that even aside from Joss being a creeper around women (I’ve seen it theorized that he’s not a ‘feminist’ as much as someone who fetishizes women who could shove him into a locker), we’re also talking about the same guy who wrote that Wonder Woman script.
