I saw the headline from another article and my first thought was “Welp, that’s about the Yellowcake.”

If it helps you feel better, I’ve been keeping up on things, and my first RotC run was at Mayhem 4 and it was an absolute slog.

What I find interesting is that timeline-wise, this show takes place at the same time as Rebels. And given that we’ve got Rosario Dawson tapped to play Ahsoka Tano in the next season of Mandalorian (and, I’ve heard, possible flashbacks in the Obi-Wan series), I wonder if we’re going to be seeing her turning up on this

Don’t take this the wrong way, but just seeing the headline made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

The Sheetz chain of gas stations here in the Eastern US has something similar for their bathroom doors.

While it doesn’t feed into my LARP Moment for this episode, the ‘Superb Owl’ thing amuses me because one of the more prominent vampire-based RPGs out there (Vampire: The Requiem) does indeed have a race of owl creatures that prey on vampires. (And yes, the game’s publisher does indeed do a ‘Superb Owl’ sale every year

Alrighty, so I did these last season and nobody told me to stop, so here I am getting caught up with...

Ellen to anyone who’s spent more than ten minutes with her, apparently: “Fuck you, I got mine.”

I’m a big fan of Hawaiian, myself. The Pies and Pints chain will also do grapes (one of their specialties is grape, gorgonzola, and rosemary), and that’s wound up as an ingredient on my and my roommate’s usual.

It’s a great moment, made even more notable since it’s (as far as I can surmise) the last time she will see him before he becomes Darth Vader.

While I imagine they would have more heavily implied this if that was the case, after seeing the second episode I couldn’t help but wonder if Jesk/Jeff/Gregor had actually been responsible for all of those accidents.

Honestly, even without the ice cream, Allison wins it for me on Hot Pockets and the sliders alone. (Though perhaps my vote shouldn’t count as much, given that I’ve never had Trader Joe’s. The nearest one is an hour and a half from my house.)

Hey, if it helps you feel any better, clearly they had one planned. I haven’t read Dark Disciple (which came after the buyout so it’s canon) so I can’t vouch for whether it’s any good, but it’s something.

I’m pretty sure “live-action” in this context means something like the Lion King remake, but anthropomorphic. And it’s probably going to be so painfully ‘uncanny valley’ that it’s going to undo all of the new furries that Zootopia already made.

I’m not gonna deny, I kinda feel like this episode and the previous one were written at the same time by folks who didn’t communicate with each other. It’d explain how you could basically drop the last episode and nothing’s actually lost at the start of this one.

Hell, the Joker movie found a reason to show the Waynes getting shot.

Betcha the cost of a movie ticket that we’re still gonna see at least a flashback of the Waynes getting gunned down. That’s what they mean by “a tale that would still acknowledge his origins,” I can all but guarantee it.

I enjoyed TLJ a lot, and I think far and away it’s the best of the new trilogy. That said, I do acknowledge that while I totally appreciate what Rian was going for with the movie, I think the eighth movie of a nine-movie saga was a bad spot for it.

Yeah, whenever I find one of these, I just make a mental note of it and look it up later on my phone where it still looks normal.

I always smell mine, but I’ve also discovered that (and this may be a quirk of the brands I’m buying or whatever) often, it still tastes fine for about a day after it starts to smell a little ‘off.’
