Hell, the Joker movie found a reason to show the Waynes getting shot.

Betcha the cost of a movie ticket that we’re still gonna see at least a flashback of the Waynes getting gunned down. That’s what they mean by “a tale that would still acknowledge his origins,” I can all but guarantee it.

I enjoyed TLJ a lot, and I think far and away it’s the best of the new trilogy. That said, I do acknowledge that while I totally appreciate what Rian was going for with the movie, I think the eighth movie of a nine-movie saga was a bad spot for it.

Yeah, whenever I find one of these, I just make a mental note of it and look it up later on my phone where it still looks normal.

I always smell mine, but I’ve also discovered that (and this may be a quirk of the brands I’m buying or whatever) often, it still tastes fine for about a day after it starts to smell a little ‘off.’

Not gonna deny, my first thought when I hit the end of this episode was “Well, that was the most drawn-out conversation ever.” The action sequences were fun enough, but they could have had a tense conversation in that prison cell without leaving and very little would change but the runtime. This also feels like the

This isn’t the first produced episode of the season, but it’s clear why Disney debuted it first.

I can never remember what movie it is, but there’s a movie where a cop is interrogating some rich executive or something, and the guy has this fancy Japanese bottled water. Supposedly the company snags an iceberg and melts it down and pours it into bottles and sells it for a ridiculous price. And the cop asks “What

Finally got around to making this. I really enjoyed the taste of it, but maybe it was the instant coffee I was using but it took a heck of a lot longer than five minutes to get it the right texture. (After looking up the Korean Grandma video to see if I was doing it wrong, I did as she did and switched to using a

BTW, Ahsoka meeting two sisters with one of them getting a crush on her is a plot point taken right out of the ‘Ahsoka’ novel that came out a few years ago.

I’m not gonna deny, while I get the occasional itch for one and indulge, I’d drink a lot more frappuccinos if they could be described as ‘thicker and less icy.’ I might have to give this a try, if I can break myself of my tendency to hiss and cross myself when I get too close to instant coffee in the store.

Oh, I totally concede the possibility that neither of us has had a “good” meringue. I know I haven’t had one I genuinely enjoyed.

Now playing

You see ‘wasted candy,’ I see ‘candy with potential!’

My experience/opinion on meringue is similar to Marnie’s. I’ve never really been able to get into the texture of it. I’ve kind of gotten to a point where for me, meringue is just kind of ‘there’ and I’m more than willing to put up with it if there’s a really good pie (especially lemon) underneath.

I’m curious as to whether anyone at Disney saw what TROS was going to be, couldn’t stop it, but made some notes to make sure that it at least got fixed in the novelization.

Same. For a long time, I basically dismissively nicknamed any movie character he played as some sort of Van Wilder variant, like “Van Wilder, Waiter” or “Van Wilder, Vampire Hunter.” And then he was cast as Deadpool, and I was like “Well, crap. Not a fan of the guy, but I can’t imagine anyone else doing the character

I don’t know if it’s because McD’s added the breakfast burrito to their menu at a very impressionable time in my childhood or what, but those picante sauce packets are one of my favorite things ever.

Part of the issue is that, like Blockbuster before it, it’s pushed really hard to dominate the market and then once 95% of the competition is gone, start really hammering home on the worst aspects of the business because they expect the customers to just sit back and take it and not leap at the first viable

I used to do Blue Apron, but switched to Hello Fresh a couple years ago. This was back when Blue Apron gave you six recipes to pick from, and you were limited on combinations, which is part of why I switched. Also, I switched because I realized one day that for the previous couple of months, literally every box had at

To some degree it’s always been a part of the character, even going back to the old series. The wittier dialogue of the new series makes it a little more obvious, but every Doctor has had one or more distinct social blind spots.
