Well, all kidding and hipsterism on my part aside, I also legitimately didn't know that the Yahoo-produced season had been released. I mean, that's everything you need to know about Yahoo's marketing machine. When browsing the net, one page in three is telling me about some original series on Netflix or something

Wow. I didn't even know that Community S6 had even come out yet.

I think what the show is doing by emphasizing Clara's increasingly Doctor-ish nature isn't a matter of "She's dangerous now," as it is "She's rapidly losing what it is that a companion needs to keep the Doctor from committing self-destructive atrocities on a semi-regular basis." That's what makes her dangerous, that

"Apparently Hera was saved by Jedi/clones at some point. This sounds like another great story and may go to explain Hera’s belief in the importance of the good fight."
I'm pretty sure this was a reference to the fact that Hera's father is a major character in a couple of Clone Wars episodes, and at the very least she

The look on Harry's face when he finds out the towel-whipping isn't meant to be sexual is just pure gold.

I figured he wasn't used to having the title 'Marquess' thrown into the mix.

So, for those of us who have seen neither Blacklist nor Person of Interest, how would folks adjust the review/grade? Because I'm not terribly concerned with how it stacks up to stuff I haven't seen and don't feel like going out of my way to watch just for a comparison.

See, I figure the montage catching everyone up is for the benefit of the people who said "fuck this" halfway through season one but have been conned into giving season two a try.

Not only is it about the meaning of life, but IIRC there's one issue that describes the origins of life with this ridiculous blend of Intelligent Design and evolution that's so corny it actually offends everyone on either side of the debate.

I read Marville when it came out. All I can say is that the only way this comic could have been any worse is if the paper it was printed on had been derived from ground-up cancerous tumors.

Ah, I didn't see the tweeted photo, I was just going on watching the event itself. Looks like there's still some makeup there (like there was on his hands after he punched Stardust on Raw), but that is much more bruise than I thought.

What, no mention of the huge makeup smear on Stephen Amell's back from that last slam on Stardust? I found that hilarious.

So in other words, he's the new Will Farrell?

Wow, that whole thing with George and Michael at the party actually sounds kind of shitty on George's part. "Oh, hey, Michael, just rubbing it in your face that you're not going to be in my movie. Insert Nelson laugh."

Not Liefeld, though they are from that era. I actually read the comic when it originally came out.

Even if Identity Crisis weren't a piece of shit on its own merits, no way in hell would I recommend it to someone unfamiliar with all of the continuity and characters that go into it. That suggestion is so wrong that it actually makes good suggestions by other people worse by association.

I've always thought that Amethyst was kind of the 'cool aunt that you really can't let babysit because she's a menace' of the Gems-Universe family (sort of like Uncle Joey on Full House), and the way she catches up with Vidalia really reminds me of the sorts of friendships my mom had with my aunt (on my dad's side)

Am I the only person who thinks that Scream 2 was actually worse than 3? The third one was ridiculous and over the top, but to be honest the only thing I thought had any merit in the second one was the opening sequence at the movie theater.

I have a friend who's been able to become completely unrecognizable to decade-long friends of his with a pair of glasses without lenses and a poker visor. Sure, Lily has Brona's face but none of her demeanor and with different body language and accent. And Dorian has no reason to suspect that this is Brona pretending

Having a strong handle on Bizarro's dialogue quirks and those dialogue quirks being annoying as hell aren't anywhere close to mutually exclusive.
