The trailers we saw showed something that might look like Lin Beifong flashbacks so we'll know for sure, but I don't think so. The writers have said somewhere that Aang died of old age. Albeit at a younger age than most Avatars die, but his lifespan was reduced from the strain of the Avatar State keeping him alive in

I've heard crazier theories. I wouldn't put down money on it but it's certainly possible.

If Chandler is in fact a werewolf, then it's possible he's been on the receiving end of his own exorcism — or at least has sought out cures in Christian mythology. (And the latter's a possibility even if he isn't a werewolf.) It's telling that he's the first person to suggest a priest for Vanessa.

No, no, what you get is the leftover slop they used to represent the fake gruel in the Matrix.

Of course, one could also argue that even Lex Luthor, at his worst, would find a way to turn the world against Superman without necessarily murdering potentially thousands of innocent people (especially people that, regardless of his ulterior motives, he went out of his way to build a city for).

I dunno, Downpour managed pretty well on that rooftop.

You are correct. They used the first half of one take and the second half of the other. There's a bit where the camera goes through a dark tunnel and that's where they slip in the stealth edit.

I dunno, if you think about it this isn't fundamentally more complicated than Angry Birds. It is intriguing, though, I'll admit.

See, in the scene with Vanessa and Peter, I was thinking the "But Lucy, I'm British!" exchange from Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

30% isn't enough to decide on pizza toppings. And I do agree that disguising the AI as a child is a cheat.

Trivia note: According to the writers, this episode partially came about as another excuse to bring back Elizabeth Peña (and her character Paran Dul) after working with her during "Starcrossed." And it does make for a delightful epilogue to that story.

Wow. I'd never heard of Team Unicorn and just watched the G33K & G4M3R GIRLS video. I think that's where the whole misogynistic 'fake geek girl' panic came from.

Still spirit-ridden? Spirits in stories don't like missing an opportunity to enjoy fleshly pleasures.

There's promotional material out there actually dropping the big guy's name. I'd be surprised if he actually appears in more than a brief cameo or two, but I bet this'll be where they introduce him.

Well, I also forgot to officially predict that there'll also be an extended question of 'is it possible that Nick might be better off remaining mundane and living a normal life'? So yeah, they're gonna drag it out so everyone has the chance to ask that question at least twice. And then they'll stack three more plots

Never underestimate the power of thousands of nerds seeing the first trailer, suddenly grabbing their friends, and going "OMG dude, Rocket and Groot!" despite the confused looks they get in return.

I suspect the trailers are overloading on fight scenes and explosions because studios are terrified that someone out there will think "Wait, this movie might be clever and witty and that possibility scares me out of seeing it."

Oh, I wasn't being snarky. Hence the "No, really." On the MLP series a while back, a big season-finale reveal was spoiled by a German toy fair or some such before the season even properly began.

Once again, the conservative, sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor.

You'd actually be surprised how often details of TV and movie projects leak out of German Hasbro licencees.
