Hahaha, yes, he’s so angry AND so wrong, there’s at least one scene where you can see - pretty clearly - he’s on the wrong side of the road. Otto is one of the greatest characters ever, love Kevin Kline, glad we at least get to hear more of him on Bob’s Burgers. :)

For me, AFCW, it’s a meatier / starring role and she’s just amazing, don’t get me wrong, she’s terrific in TP, but Wanda has:

Southbound made it into our standard rotation, some really neat design/FX (the floating specters are so well done), unifying concepts across the individual stories and the main arc are nicely done, pretty solid acting, like most anthologies some stories are better than others, but overall it’s a great movie.

We kind of liked it, did drag a bit (the runtime just over 2 hours), some of the new concepts were neat, the production design was excellent, new Cenobite designs nicely done (hahaha, spell check correctly corrected Cenobite). I really dug on how hell opened up each time, some were really clever (one towards the end

I know, when we saw the trailer for the episode, the wife and I both said it was kind of a bummer Milly and Emily are being replaced (while keeping many of the other current players, just aged via makeup). The new actors look terrific, certainly a they a good replacement visually, but you’re so right, Milly will hard

I wonder if his Batman has done two chicks at once ...

Right? Kind of an odd take correlating one small uptick in viewership to there being a plot development involving incest. If anything I suspect the WOM is creating a little more interest - and I know it took me a few episodes before I even had an opinion - and right about that time, I started seeing more positive

I +think+ you’ve got my top 5, though I’d have Scary Monsters higher, maybe at #2.  Certainly in your top 10 is my top 5, great list :)

Yeah, it happens, it did to us too. So to show some extra support, we bought it as soon as we could (vs. even just renting it). FWIW, even with my high expectations, they were STILL exceeded!  And I’ve watched it twice since we’ve owned it, the second time was with the daughter who loved it.

Yeah, the scene where he kills (er, eventually ...) the stag, I was trying to figure out what was going on with his glove/hand when he was holding the spear, made sense when they showed his hand (basically two fingers of the glove were empty).

I’ll have you know, the wife and I were =completely= drunk, but we still understood what was going on (ex: the source of the dragon at the end ...)

I was thinking maybe DC would hire Aristotle Athari and just quietly replace Ezra Miller ...

We just watched Welcome to Raccoon City last night, yeah, it was pretty fun! I only have vague, but fond memories of playing the original game, so it pushed the right buttons for us as “casual” RE fans. They did a good job of lighting and framing in a few scenes, where it felt a bit like a videogame (especially in the

Your comment reminded me of that Simpsons bit ...

Jokes on them, I take my Disney Day 2021 cards and just change the 1 to a 2 with a Sharpie!

All you need to know about Air Force One is that Harrison Ford is the president of the United States - if that doesn’t sell you ... :D

I got worried when they showed the guy sweating, like he was worked up over something he was about to do (like attack Jimmy).  In the end, he was just another guy, on a bus, on the way to prison, like Jimmy ...

I’m past my edit duration, so replying to my original post, but now 4 EPs in, and my post above is still right on. The wife loves it too, she read a few issues here and there, and knows the general story, but I’d say she’s closer to someone not familiar with the source than someone very intimate with it (like myself).

I know, I had a Mandela Effect moment, “I thought he died ...”, then snapped out of it - and of course had to confirm on Wikipedia :D

Excellent, thanks for the heads up! WTF is in my “check on occasion” podcast rotation, I hadn’t seen the Gaiman EP yet (I see it now, from Aug 1).
