I think if that was the original plan, then Morgan and Richard having a conversation about telling Ezekial later about the missing canteloupe doesn’t make sense. When would Richard tell him later if he was dead?

Oh, dear lord. No.

They took their guns too. Maybe that was planned beforehand and not just because they were one melon short and didn’t want anyone shooting back while they shot Benjamin. Maybe they just wanted the guns the whole time.

Walker Grapes.

I don’t think Richard knew what was going to happen. Given that he and Morgan were arguing about Richard not yet telling the rest what he had done, and Richard’s response to Ezekiel that it was best talked about “when they get back”, I don’t think either Richard or Morgan knew what was going to happen.

Well it’s more of a throw-it-in-the-garbage-can-and-then-set-that-garbage-can-on-fire kind of fruit than anything.

They should have shot anyone and everyone responsible for bringing such a fucking terrible fruit as tribute.

If we could box up Season 2 and drop it into the Marianas Trench, never to be spoken of again, I would sneak into the box last night’s episode before it was sealed. I’d probably yell “cantaloupe!” and point behind everyone as the distraction.

I’ll grant that the Saviors are petty enough to force the Kingdom to make a trip jusrt to deliver a dozen cantaloupes to them. But there is no reason why the cantaloupes need to be “loaded” onto the back of a cargo truck.

The level of compassion/humanity that Gavin is trying to hold onto while working for a clear villain in the midst of the apocalypse is something I wish this show had more of over the years.

The rest of the group wants to kill the bastard too and are actively gathering supplies and forming a plan. Rosita is acting very impatient and is now off to basically use the same plan that failed miserably a week or so ago (in TWD time).

This was an I Can’t Even episode, possibly the greatest I Can’t Even episode of the series.

I took that one scene as foreshadowing that they could kill Michonne and then Rick would fail to take his own advice and break down.

• Okay, confession time. I need you guys to set me straight, because I have no idea what Tara was talking to Father Gabriel about. She’s complaining to him that he somehow talked her into something? But as I recall, Gabriel essentially said “Don’t throw your life away in a very stupid attempt to kill Negan!” and

You’re right, the scene with Rosita and Father Gabriel made zero sense. He told her not to throw her life away on a suicide mission to kill Negan, she did it anyway and totally failed. And now she’s going to do it again and totally fail again, and I guess that’s somehow Father Gabriel’s fault, too.

So, those two golfing dudes Rick and Michonne murdered. Were they Saviors, or just two guys?

I was just hoping there would be a book tour where they hold me while I cry.

“... hit a set of spike strips going 115 MPH, subsequently barreled off of the road and into a drainage ditch, launched the truck into the air and landed on a car parked at a restaurant”

All I got out of this was, “I’m a psycho, so I haven’t worn sweatpants in a long time.”
