That is the dual purpose of their “small steps” approach. It keeps the issue around to rally the religious right, and it takes away rights in such small and to the average person reasonable sounding steps middle of the road people do not react too negatively.

Trump Spice is gold!

Hillary warned us about this about fifty billion times.

His government may well be illegitimate. Tampering with the democratic process extends beyond direct manipulation of ballots. For example, making people fear going to the polls for various reasons would be tampering with the democratic process. Having the head of the FBI suggest that one of the candidates may be a

Reading Spicer’s comments gave me a mental picture of Trump sitting in a darkened Oval Office with his head on the desk sobbing uncontrollably.

“It’d be like Trump going to Arlington National Cemetery and bitching about the ratings for his State of the Union.”

It’s not about one tweet, it’s not about one picture, it’s about a constant theme. It’s about sitting here every time, and being told, “No. Well we don’t think he can do that, he’ll never accomplish that, he can’t win that, it won’t be the biggest, it’s not gonna be that good, the crowds aren’t that big, he’s not

4. 2 men, 2 women. Then he’ll start holding the press conferences himself.

I heard that, as long as 20-30 years ago, immigrants from across the globe came to the US specifically to give birth to children who would someday be able to vote for Trump. And travelers from a distant future, able to manipulate the very fabric of time and space, travel back to 2016 to pay homage and vote for Trump.

I’m sure I’m in the minority here but what made Trump’s remarks so vile is that he made them in front of the Memorial Wall at the CIA. Those stars represent operatives killed in the line of duty who can’t be honored by name because of the nature of their activities.

Is he saying that all this could have been avoided with a participation trophy, a round of applause and a complimentary pussy-grab back in September 2015? Because that’s kinda what I’m hearing.

The alternative fact of the matter is that he won 95% of the total votes and his approval rating is higher than an adorable kitty hiding in a box of packing peanuts

oh, but we didnt demoralize him, sean - he came to us, quite honestly, without any morals at all.

it’s a little demoralizing to turn on the tv day after day and hear...

To be fair, humanity was always going to go out with a whimper. It’s just that, surprisingly, this whimper ends with a bang.

Let’s not forget the unconstitutional gerrymandering and voter ID laws. A fair and constitutional election would have likely resulted in a wider popular vote gap and swung the vote in a few states.

OK, thats the thing.

There’s nothing remotely fair or legitimate about the Director of the FBI intentionally manipulating public opinion of one candidate days before an election through targeted, misleading, selective public statements that heavily imply wrongdoing and criminality, while steadfastly insisting nothing about the much more

It was likely manipulated by Russia. And Comey’s rank, treasonous fuckery. And Trump lost by 3 million votes. It is morally completely illegitimate. Possibly legally as well.

I’m sort of baffled by the characterizations of these marches as being ‘white women things’. The one I went to in Cleveland seemed incredibly inclusive. There were Black Lives Matter people, gay people, trans-rights and trans people, people with disabilities, young people, old people, everyone was represented.
