At first I thought Chrome OS was going to be no big deal. But recently I've realized that everything Google programs starts as silver and turns to gold. I'm looking forward to testing out Chrome OS as a lightweight system that will hopefully work well on old computers.

Aren't some bathtubs made of fiberglass or something similar? Would this be safe for those?

I'll definitely be using this. I'm not on a diet, but if I track my food intake, I could find some surprising information.

Thanks for posting! I love when Lifehacker suggests Android Apps.

We don't use them because we shop at the discount grocery. In our neighborhood, that's Aldi. We save quite a lot by shopping there, but the brands are mostly Aldi brands so there is no ability to use coupons.

GQueues? Is that new? It looks good to me!

"Summer's almost here, meaning it's time for the long-dreaded tradition of breaking out the old lawn mower." Where do you live? I've been mowing for at least a month already!

I experienced some very high energy at the end of a half marathon recently. In the last two miles, I was really slowing down. When I got near the finish, I did what I'd practiced: a cartwheel. Right after the cartwheel, my energy was so high, I sprinted past a lot of runners. I wanted to sprint to the end, but I

How is there even a question? LastPass! Its browser integration is incredible, it's very secure, and you can use it to store notes and passwords that aren't for web sites. It's a set it and forget it system.

Thank you! I've added this to my Portable Apps folder in my USB key and Dropbox.

Wow. This is awesome. I will use this so much. You don't understand how great this is. Thanks!

This was good to read. I do the same thing as Roth, and was worried I wasn't doing enough.

This was great for a little while. It was really easy and worked well. But then I realized it was the reason my Lotus Notes wasn't working. Fail.

@mindtrix: I use the same method, except I only have 3 addresses. One has "spam" in the address, and I give to websites and businesses. The second I give to my friends and potential employers. The third nobody has but it's where I operate out of, via mail forwarding.

Cobian. It's a portable app and you can set up a backup, schedule it, or just run it when you want. It is fast since you can set it so it only copies new or changed files. It also features compression such as zip and 7zip.

This is one of the best life hacks I've seen in a while.

I just moved to LastPass, and I don't imagine KeeFox would be better (though possibly equal), so I won't be moving to KeeFox unless Lifehacker gives me a good reason to.

Google Reader is all I use.

I tried Grooveshark yesterday, and it was awesome! I love finding new web apps through Lifehacker.
