Regarding #2 on your list, if you ever go white-water rafting in the New River in WV, it is soooo worth it to find The Mystery Hole.   Actual name and not a euphemism.

I was born and raised in IL and moved to WI, and I maintain that WI has the worst drivers anywhere. It is still the only state where, after I flashed my lights repeatedly at the driver going 65 mph in the left lane directly next to another car for miles and she finally moved over, I was met with not anger or defiance b…

And that’s why anytime I’m outside of Wisconsin in a nearby state and there’s slow traffic in the left lane, I’m willing to bet those in the car with me that the car holding everyone up will have a Wisconsin plate. I’m right about 80% of the time, especially when I drive back to Michigan. 

I’ve driven in Minnesota and was aghast at how drivers acted as traffic cops by driving under the speed limit in the left lane. INSANITY!
